Because of this, perceived noise levels will vary. Moen GX75C GX-Series Host-Series 3/4 Horsepower Garbage Disposal comes with a ¾ horsepower, high speed-2700 RPM, permanent magnet motor designed to reduce jamming and a 10-year limited warranty for the original product purchaser. Due to the powerful vortex motor and torque this disposal deliveries, you may experience a louder noise if the disposal is being run without food or cold water. When the disposal starts, the impellers will swing into position to guide the food to the grind ring. When they hit the grind ring, you hear this noise.
