Excellent int he sense the it provides multiple bolts so you can customize it to your needs. Be sure to measure the diameter of the neck as I had to reuse the old one that was on my shower kit.

Handle Extension Kit in Chrome is designed to attach the handle to a valve that has been installed too far into the wall for a standard installation. The stop tube, screws, and stem extensions are designed to extend an additional 2." The individual product lengths are not 2." Works great, maybe a metal extension would be better than plastic, as it does have some bend if you push on it of center. But overall I was pleased with the product, fit was great, easy install. And once again the customer service was excellent. Thanks HD

Absolutely terrible !!! Extension did not fit original valve I purchased from Home Depot.
I took the extension and other parts back to store in Los Banos Ca. Five employees + Manager tried to determine how this extension was intended to work but could not !. I had to buy different valve from another manufacturer, remove Moen valve, and return it to store for credit !!! Probably could not have been a worse experience. I personally spent more than 10 hours working on the project trying to make Moen products work as advertised ! Never again !!!

Took time to install
Worked fine after I figured out to line up the face plate, hold it in position and then remove the sleeve. Then I could see the holes to align the screws. I got them started and then replaced the sleeve and tightened the screws.
