Hello Nlj and thank you for your feedback on Home Depot’s website for your Moen Soap/Lotion Dispenser in Spot Resist Stainless (3.13 in.). The soap dispenser is designed to be refilled from above the sink. You will need to pull straight up on the Spot Resist Stainless head/nozzle and carefully fill the bottle reservoir with preferred liquid, which has an 18oz. maximum capacity. Once the bottle is filled gently, push the head/nozzle into the base until it is firmly seated.
