Hefty, seems well made. But brushed nickel finish does not match brushed nickel finish of other moen products.

Tub/Shower Drain Covers in Brushed Nickel are the same finish as the other brushed nickel shower products. It would be a darker finish than the spot resist brushed nickel products but would still compliment the product. Does Not Match other Moen Brushed Nickel; No Gaskets or Conversion Bracket Included
Bought these components to replace the chrome drain covers when we were redoing our bath. Terrible purchase. We purchased a Moen shower kit in Brushed Nickle that included the rest of the trim. First and foremost, the Brushed Nickle on these components is more golden while the finish on the rest of the Moen trim kit is more silver. It is a subtle difference, but obvious when you are in the shower. One would think that since all components were Moen, the finish would be consistent but that is not the case.
Second, this doesn't even include gaskets or a conversion bracket for mounting a single-hole overflow cover into a double-hole overflow pipe. You would think for this price point, they could splurge and provide a little bit of rubber and the bracket to make this compatible instead of making someone hunt around for the rest of the components...very dissatisfied with this purchase.

The Moen Tub/Shower Drain Covers in Brushed Nickel has our brushed nickel finish which is different from our Spot Resist Brushed Nickel finish. The Moen brushed nickel finish is a lightly brushed warm grey metallic finish and can appear slightly golden when next to our Spot Resist Brushed Nickel finish. The Moen spot resist brushed nickel finish is a brighter brushed warm grey metallic finish; a more true “stainless” color. The Moen Tub/Shower Drain Covers in Brushed Nickel comes with a washer and gasket for the drain seat. It does not come with a conversion bar kit to change the existing overflow plate cover from a two hole to a single hole. The Moen Conversion Bar kit, part number 142538 must be purchased separately. We are sorry that the Moen Tub/Shower Drain Covers in Brushed Nickel did not meet your expectations. Works great! After receiving this drain assembly I was very glad I spent the extra money and purchased this product. Not only is it American Made, it is much stronger and heavier duty than the other products I looked at. Replacement was easy, and I am sure it will last much longer than the original as well.

Fit like a dream. The best tub drain out there in oil rubbed bronze. The others are cheaply made. This isn’t inexpensive but worth the price for excellent quality.

Good solid parts
Replaced the cheap plastic parts that came with the drain kit. These ones should last and not tarnish like the plastic ones.
