This valve (Model 2520 MOEN Rough-in Posi-Temp Pressure-Balancing Cycling Valve) was installed three years ago when we remodeled our guest bathroom. It gets very little use. Our son used it over Christmas, maybe three times. Now it won't shut off completely. Moen is sending me a replacement part (under their limited warranty) at no charge. Hopefully, I can install it myself.

This might have worked well but it wasn't threaded, so it couldn't be installed.

Converting from traditional 2 handles to a valve at standing height. The Temp. needed to be adjusted warmer. Easy adjustment. Solid feel when turning the valve handle.

Comes with an adapter for thicker walls, which the plumber would have found helpful if he'd noticed. Perfect fit for the Moen faucet.

Moen has great products at great prices. There single handle faucets and shower valves have been an industry standard for 50 years. They are very cheap and easy to replace cartridge or repair valve if something goes wrong down the road.

The valve was easy to prepare and rough in. We used a combination of copper and PEX to finish the installation. The whole job took about an hour and we were ready to install the hardboard.

This valve was suggested by the representative and it was entirely the wrong valve and it will be returned.

First time in my life that I installed my own plumbing, the simple instructions and special mount guide my it a fun job from a DIYer.

I got this to replace my old sterling fixture. My father-in-law was able to install it no problems. You need to have the necessary plumbing tools to do this of course. I got the Moen faucet to fit it also.

Product arrived just as described, valve body and cartridge only. Not sure what trim package we want yet, but this will take almost any from Moen. Moen is kind of expensive, but I don't ever want to open the wall again. Install was simple enough. Take the valve guts out before applying heat to prevent damage. I only need shower so I plugged the shower outlet and ran the shower off the tub outlet for more flow. Hot or Cold can come in from either left or right!!!!! You just flip the cartridge 180. They don’t tell you that anywhere.

It was quite easy to install. Works in a perfect manner.

For a Pro I'm sure this would be an awesome product. For the DIYer the instructions are a little confusing the way they are laid out making the install cumbersome. If your mechanically inclined it's not difficult.

The handle is metal but the valve cover is plastic with a chrome finish. I am afraid it won't last so I returned it.

I'm used to written installation instructions, but it seems like more products are going to the wordless, picture installation method. Such was the case with this product. It took some time trying to figure out what the pictures were trying to explain, but once I figured out which installation method was appropriate it was a pretty simple installation. The only complaint is there is no indication as to the on/off position of the handle. After getting doused the first time I turned the water back on I quickly found out I had the handle in the full open position (of course!) and not the closed position. A nice picture of the proper handle position would have been nice.

I am finishing a basement bathroom and have selected Home Depot as my source for plumbing parts, supplies, and Moen fixtures. All products were delivered timely. The valve has been installed but the project is not yet finished. So far, so good!

The people in the Zanesville store where very helpful and had no problems getting help unlike Lowes next door. I liked it so much I have been coming back for other supplies. We are doing a complete bathroom remodel.

My contractor told me the valve is not connected to the mixer inside. He had to uninstall the valve, fixed it and reinstalled. Construction looks good.
