Easy to install, provides a rain screen so water is not trapped behind the siding.

I really think this product will work over the long-term as described. Time will tell. It was easy to work with and easy to install. I saw it on PBS This Old House.

Excellent product to remove condensation from exterior walls. Warm air meets cold air between house wrap and siding material, in my case cedar shingles. NOTE: Every YOU TUBE application of a rain shield I have seen on YOU TUBE, including This Old House, shows installation backwards! The blue twisted strands (yellow for some brands) go against the house wrap! There is a flap of material on one side of the roll used for wrapping over the bottom open ends of the twisted blue fibers to serve as a bug screen. This system works great until you have an angled cut, I used 6" strips of landscape fabric to wrap around these exposed cut channels of blue twisted fibers and stapled in place.

There is extra fabric at the bottom to keep bugs out but not at the top or when you cut, there is no extra fabric to cover the cuts (sides or cut outs) overall still a good product from what I can tell from installation

I have used the 1/4” Mortair Vent when residing my home. It works great and is easy to work with and attach.

Easy to install. The built in insect screen at the top and bottom is unique. Something the similar Benjamin Obdyke product does offer. Quick shipping from Home Depot. Product performed well - provided the necessary rain screen for the job.

Fantastic stuff, easy to use and apply.

I have seen similar products used and was always interested in using on a project. I decided to order from THD and my order came in with no issues and on time. The product was very easy to handle and the instructions were simple and thorough. I am using this product on the exterior walls of a mountain cottage we are remodeling. The area has very high rainfall and I wanted the added protection to keep our wood siding as dry as possible. White pine board and batten will go over it. So far so good!

Contractors in SoCal should use behind stucco, brick, & stone!
