If the VF2008 filter bag didn't fit your vacuum, you may check with Home Depot the return policy of the product if it is within 90 days from the time you have purchase it. However, the VF2008 is designed to fit most of Shop-Vac brand vacuum that is between 15 to 22 gallon and we do not recommend it to be used it with other brand vacuums, since it is not designed to other brand vacuum and might not fit other brand vacuums.
