Fantastic product ! Low fumes, great soap and water cleanup. And it really eats up the layers of paint

Love that clean up is with water, but I will do the final scrub with mineral spirits and steel wool to keep the wood from getting too wet.

What a mess. I tried to remove multiple layers of paint from my house exterior. It just made a goopy mess.

Easy to apply and stayed put! The large area I stripped was 50+ years of painted bricks (multiple layers), I used 2 gallons of multi strip, a metal scraper, and a power washer! Excited to move on to the next step of this project.

I used this on an 80 yr old closet door that I wanted to save. I had to put on 2 coats because the door had been painted several times, the last was oil based. Do yourself a favor and spread this product generously, kind of like bbq sauce on burnt ribs. You'll need to do this outside. It has a potent smell. You'll also have to sand before repainting.

This stuff worked well for my application. I used it on metal vent pieces from a car, one piece being the vent that runs across the base of the windshield. It would have been difficult to strip without media-blasting or using a 'chemical' remover. This product removed 50+ year-old lacquer paint and most of the primer. The smell was not unpleasant and it cleaned right up with water only. Overall, I was very impressed.

Stripping our steps of about 20 layers of paint and stain. Works good. The only downfall is that it takes most of the layers of paint off and have to do a second coat. But overall it does work. Do make sure you have some sort of ventilation because it does have a smell.

Trying to remove varnish from pine flooring... barely made dent even when left on, thick, overnight. Second coat did little better so I returned the remainder of the 1/2 gallon. It may work better on paint

This product is outstanding. I used it to remove 13 years of varnish buildup on Teak & Holly flooring in my boat. All work was done in my basement. No fume issues and safe for indoor use. A mild odor at first then it disappears. Left product on for four days before removing! Two applications and I was done. Great stuff!

At the recommendation of the HD paint department, we used this product to strip a large stained pine wardrobe. Not only did it NOT remove any of the existing stain but the product left large brown blotches. After scraping and drying there was still a tacky residue (think maple syrup) that required hours of wiping with denatured alcohol followed by sanding. Tried to save 5-6 hours of sanding and ended up having to paint the piece.
