Perfect for my purposes
I bought this to turn into a "Keezer" for home brew. It's perfect for that purpose, and probably does just as well as a regular freezer. I put a pine "collar" around the top to mount the faucets, which gives me clearance for three, five-gallon Cornelius kegs (I keep the CO2 bottle outside the freezer). I took away one star as it makes a noise, when running, that sounds just a bit unhealthy. It's not the normal purr of a compressor or fan, but a bit more like something's got a bit of friction that shouldn't be there. It cools very well, and the noise is not an issue where the unit's located, so I'm still happy with it. BTW I used curbside pickup for this, which went very smoothly. I didn't even have to help load it into the SUV. Luckily, it's light enough that I could get it in house on my 72-year-old lonesome.

I waited 7 months to be accurate about my review.
It was delivered on time in excellent condition. The delivery guy carried it inside and took it out of the box for me. I plugged it in and set the temperature to the middle setting. I put a quality thermometer in one of the baskets then waited till the next day. The temperature was at 1 degree and I started adding frozen food from my kitchen refrigerator. It runs quiet and I haven't had a problem. I've since lowered the temp. to just below zero. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Much Needed Freezer
The freezer works well. Fit right in the spot. Excellent delivery service. The only issue is that sometimes it makes an unexpected noise.

It's a freezer
Works well, but the new version no longer has both a power and run light. Now it only has a light when the compressor runs. So when it's at temp, there's no visible way to tell that is on, except to open the lid and check the lid light. Kinda annoying.

Defective and thawed 200 pounds of meat
Total disaster. Ordered freezer to hold a quarter beef. Freezer was delivered. Waited a week to plug in and a few days later to use. 5 days later realized meat was thawed. The plug for defrosting did not stay engaged either. DO NOT recommend!

Nice, feels light, compact, quiet unit. So far.
No apparent shipping or handling damage. It was packed really well, and feels lighter than the listed weight (when moved). The interior light is bright enough, two (metal w/ plastic coating) baskets are included. it has an easy open lid, and did I mention it is quiet? I cleaned the interior, checked its levelness, and let it sit for 24 hours before turning it on for the the first time. Setting the temperature dial to the middle (4) position caused the temperature inside to reach Zero (0) degrees (F), and hold it within the first 24 hours. It has unused capacity, which will be partially filled in the future at some point. We like it. The honeymoon phase has barely started, so as for durability goes, I can't answer that. For now, it gets the 5 inches clearance on all sides it requires. It's a good start to this relationship.

Good deep freezer
Perfect size. Fits in my garage and doesn’t take up a bunch of space. Great for holding extra frozen meats and food. Make sure you either have an outlet or power strip nearby where you plan on placing this freezer. Cord is pretty short.

Lid does not seal
I purchased this item as a gift for my husband and after filling it with hundreds of dollars worth of food- we realized a week later that it does not seal properly. Ice has formed around the inside ledge of the freezer. The crack in the seal is visible.

I like this little freezer it is the perfect size for one or two people. I doesn't take up much floor space for the amount of room in it. The LED light is a great feature it makes finding things in the bottom much easier. The side shelf and the racks are great for smaller items also. I also like that it is not self defrosting, my ice cubes are not all stuck together and dehydrated like when I store them in the frost free fridge freezer compartment. All in all it is a perfect unit for me.

Excellent appearance and use is Amazing. Having another freezer before makes this one in comparison a wonder. The LED light is extremely convenient for use in a garage. The temperature switches are easy to read and navigate. The cleanliness of unit is very appreciated as a daily food storage use.
The extra internal storage baskets are very useful to separate the various foods; as well as the internal separating tray walls are extremely helpful to use the various storage of freezer like foods. I am very satisfied with the current use and look forward to years of great use from product.... ''THANK YOU MAGIC CHEF''...

My item has stains on the front. The plastic protective film was removed before I unboxed the item. When I called the store to return it, they said they didn’t have any more in stock but they would have more on May 28th and that someone would notify me to come in and return the item for another one. That did not happen. I called the store and they said they didn’t have any in stock and didn’t know when the item would be. It looks like I am stuck with a used looking chest freezer.
I’m a Very dissatisfied longtime customer.

Nest Freezer, Most Options
Second one .. price for price this freezer beats out all other. Prices withing the same price range of the basic bottom. line freezer offering a Thermostat switch and a basket... this one comes with switch, power light, operating light, 2 baskets, a separator inside freezer and a Light on the lid. The closest with these options was almost $100 more.

The first two that the store employees brought from the stock room were damaged, but third one was a charm! Works fine. Wish it had actual temperature dial instead of numbers 1-7 with no explanation of what those translate to into degrees.
This can hold a little over 1800oz of frozen breast milk for anyone looking for that purpose.
