It’s my first belt sander, so I have nothing to compare it to. That said, it seems to work fine.

The Makita 11Amp. 4” x 24” belt sander was a great purchase.

Very quiet compared to my old sander. It does the job very efficiently. Although it costs a little more than a 3" x 24" sander, it pays for itself with less time sanding.

More expensive than most of the other belt sanders, but this baby is worth it. You will have a belt sander for a long time - get a high quality one like the Makita and your life will be happier. Dist collection was surprisingly good. Belts were easy to put on and adjust.

The quality is excellent. Because it is so well built it is a little heavy but runs and works just great.

This is the best belt sander I ever used. I thought it would be hard to manage due to other reviews but I was surprised to find it easy to use due in large part to its size and power. Sanded my entire 10x24 deck in a few hours. I was able to move across the boards with little effort and got good results with one hand sanding due to the weight of the sander doing the work. No pressing needed.I love this thing!

This is an awesome heavy duty belt sander. Did a lot of research to find a replacement for my old one and this was a great choice. Extremely happy with it’s performance!!! Thank You!!!

Good sander, built for the long haul.

This sander is a great tool with maximum power. It is heavy enough to ride flat on your project. I am a 35 year carpenter. I highly recommend this sander as well as all makita tools
