Smooth and powerful saw. Many adjustments to get you the cuts you need. It is a bit on the heavy side so not as portable as others but if you are strong nothing to worry about. Make a rolling stand for it for easy wheeling around your workspace. Well built and beautiful to say the least.

The saw blade and the saw guard was easy to assemble based on the instructions.

I needed to mill some 2" oak into 2x4's and 2x2's. My 10" Craftsman table saw I didn't even try as I knew it would be a struggle to mill this 2" oak and I didn't want to get into a position that could be dangerous. This Makita 10 inch table saw was up to the task and did the job with ease. Not quite like butter but for oak it really did a good job. I look forward to many years of good service from this saw. Once I saw the size of this table saw I ordered the Makita stand also. They work great together as the saw is to big to move around without a movable stand. A bit more money for this saw and stand. Very nice saw and I would do it again. This was worth the money.

Bought this in November last year. Fence froze-up and will no longer lock down. After about a hour trying to take it apart to release it I gave up in frustration. I paid over $600 for this table saw and to have this happen in the middle of a job is disappointing. Now I will have to spend the good part of the afternoon taking it to a Makita authorized repair center.

Much quiet than his competitors. Deep cut depth that can rip 4x4 easily. Very convenient to use and I personally haven't experience any difficulty installing the guard like other youtube review complained.

I have my Makita Table Saw 25 Years and it still works great!!! Many Many Kitchens have been installed. I highly recommend.

So far, the saw has lived up to my expectations. Time will tell!!

Great saw that works right out of the box with minimal set up. The aluminum top and plastic bottom make the whole thing easy to lift and move, although that lightweight top is easy to scratch.

Only downfall was that the stand was not available at the time we wanted both so had to buy them separately which cost us an additonal $150. Did not care for that part.

It is light weight, handy and easy to use.

There are several excellent jobsite table saws on the market. I chose this one for two reasons: first, my previous Makita table saw served me well for over twenty years; second, this is the only jobsite table saw not made in China. It is made in the state of Georgia and it is a very high-quality tool.

Excellent power. Accurate rip fence and miter guide. Set up was very easy. The max depth of cut for this saw is a major advantage.

This product is like a toy, plastic all over. If you going to spent over $ 600.00, you must feel it , touch it and see the item in real... Don't throw your money away on cheap chinesse replicas. This suppose to be a quality japanese machine. Where is the metal parts that make a tool strong, quality that you can expect to last? I wouldn't buy again, not even for a gift, you will be ashamed.

The saw was easy to set up and use.

Very surprised at Makita, this saw is a piece of garbage. Worst fence system I have ever seen, no way to modify for a zero clearance throat plate, very poor design period!

Love Makita tools especially since Makita USA factory service center right in Dayton NJ.

I do really love the saw. It is quieter than the other one, table is bigger, and it has a break for the blade. Extension table is a plus also. Great Saw !!

Easy setup. Purchased on line thru Home Depot. Arrived as scheduled. The only downfall was trying to purchase the Dado Blade insert. Home Depot does not carry them in store. Saw works perfectly. Bought it for home projects and Wife to do lists.

Would have gotten five stars if it could be fitted with a zero clearance throat plate. I think that is a should be.

After unpacking the table saw, I noticed a dent in the side of the machine which I wasn’t too pleased about especially with the amount of money invested but other than that it was good!

Great saw. A little heavier than I remember the Makitas from the days of old so a little more effort getting it in and out of the truck.
