I install cabinets and this is great for doing crown as well as small pieces of trim. Really solid nailer. I’ve only had it jamb like twice in the 18 months that I’ve owned it. It’s a little on the heavy side but you get used to it. It’s balanced really well with a 3 AH batter.

Bought two of these. Both of them I returned within a week. The first 2 or 3 pins would work then they would not advance. O well, back to a hose and compressor.

Have a few pneumatic brad nailers, but really wanted a cordless one for convenience. Compared a few different brands, bought this one. Has been very handy, charge lasts a long time.

Really fast. After extensive use no misfires or jams as of now.

Worked great the Makita radio, and worked with my other Makita equipment 18V charger. Couldn’t be happier…..and love the heavy duty work site radio also.

The product that I purchase is working well and holds the charge an exceptionally long time

Worst makita product ever made can’t believe they would even put there name on it. Will not set a nail below the surface of anything, very disappointing. Buy something else. This is coming from someone who owns a bunch of makita cordless tools

The gun jams after every single shot. Returning.

Returned it. Kept jamming.

This tool has become absolutely horrible in quality. We need to use constantly in window and door industry and this thing breaks unbelievably often. Strongly do not recommend it. I am in a search of a different tool now.

Work perfectly. With the 18v battery it’s a little heavy, but balanced well with the battery attached.

Not enough power to sink pin nails in hardwoods. Would work great if you were just doing pine trim or something though. However, it's no match for my Hitachi air powered pin nailer. No jams or misfires, just lack of power for baltic birch plywood I was using it on.

Lack of power to drive in 1 3/8 pin into solid oak molding, Going to return it.

Very pleased with power to weight ratio on my portable tools. My multitool does run through this battery faster than I would like, but less power hungry tools like compact drills work for a good duration on this battery.

Jams every time!!!!!

I brought this pin nailer this past week since i have cordless Makita tools and was tired of draging out my compressor/hose/gun. I used it right away to install 160 feet of shoe molding and it worked great. Not a single jam or misfire. I used hitachi pin nails since i have a corded hitachi pin nailer and it worked just fine

Worked for 3 pin nails and then stopped. Cannot get any support from Home Depot.

Pin nails get stuck frequently and also does not take 1 1/4 nails plus loading mechanism is to flimsy you will need a hard case.
