Nice discount for a quality tool. Lightest impact driver I've ever had. Fast charge and when I compare to my Bosch, Dewalt and Rigid it's right there with quality and finish.

Bought the set roughly 7 years ago, heavy usage and still work like first day, batteries are starting to get weaker, so probably due for new ones. Makita makes great products. Would buy it again i n a hard beat. The light helps in hard to reach area.

I bought this item because of the batteries it came with, I wasn't really expecting much from the impact driver or hammer drill. I only used impact driver once at work I didn't like it, so I went and got my dewalt impact driver fixed and I haven't used the Makita since

Makita still makes the best cordless drill on the market.

After much research between Makita, Dewalt and Milwaukee, I was finally sold on the Makita. You probably can't go wrong with any of the 3 mentioned but from the majority of the reviews Makita ranked #1 more often than any other for their impact drill. So far I've done a few small projects around the house with both drills and couldn't be happier. In fact, I'm trying to come up with stuff to do just so I can use them more often.

I've used this set every day for over a year now as a fabricator at a commercial sign shop. Battery life is pretty good and full charge time is around half an hour. Both tools are very powerful for cordless tools. The impact can easily break 1/4" bolts so be careful... The drilldriver has a wide range of settings and the clutch is nice and smooth.

Purchased this for my husband and have truly enjoyed the features of these drills!
