I'm a tradesman and this is the best tool purchase I've made in some time. It is light weight, powerful and makes much less noise than some of my drills. I've used it with cut-off wheels, wire wheels and buffing/polishing wheels. Each to great effect. I cannot speak to how long it might last as I've only had it a few months. But I can say it has already paid for itself, not once but twice. And it just feels right in my hand, as any well made tool should. I highly recommend it.

This grinder has been very nice. I'm a commercial Locksmith and I use this grinder with an arbor and 2" cutoff wheel to make cuts in steel & aluminum door frames. At first I wanted a grinder with variable speed, but honestly with the paddle trigger and the perfect balance of this machine I haven't needed that at all. This is my first Blue tool and I'm very pleased.

I purchased this to replace my old porter cable which started heating up after a couple minutes of use. The Makita is much quieter and smoother. I wished it had variable speed but didn't want to pay the higher price for that model...turns out I may not really need that feature with the paddle switch.

Very good product. Runs very smooth and and has a decent amount of power. Not only does it work with a burr bit but I also used it with a 3 inch roloc pad.

Tool works well enough and I shouldn't be expecting more from it than what it is; however, don't lose the chuck keys (two wrenches actually) and be aware of where you place those wrenches when loosening/tightening the chuck. One wrench slipped down just a bit and it was difficult to get it off. Overall, the grinder is quiet, powerful and easy to handle. In hindsight, I would have spent more for easier chuck operation.
