Beautiful Finish
I love the finish. I agree it is a very neutral brown but not lacking in warmth. My husband was impressed with the durability factor of the finish. He could tell when he sawed through to fit pieces.
My one peeve about this flooring is that there were way too many small pieces. It would be nice if the pieces were coded. I suggest you organize them according to size before installing.

This is high quality solid hardwood flooring. Fits together like a glove. Pieces are straight and are finished on the backside for stability. I bought some similar hardwood from Home Depot and while it was also good, this is better.

I bought 14 boxes and only one piece was had the tongue messed up. Easy to install, wood was straight and it looks GREAT. Delivery took a week longer than originally quoted (which put my project behind) but stuff happens.

Excellent quality. There are no reject pieces and very little waste material. The appearance is stunning. No sanding or finishing is required, and the finish is just what I wanted. I'm going to order some more to finish the whole upstairs. I called the company with a question about the underlayment an received expert advice.

The flooring is lovely. So far, I've only found one long board with slight edge damage but I was able to cut it and use both ends. I like how the boards are arranged in the cases & I use as many as I can before opening another case. No warping of the thick boards so they are easy to connect. The flooring exceeds my expectations. Each board has a nice pattern and I love the color variation.

It is really pretty flooring. By buying a box I could better compare the color to Pelican Hill which is slightly darker and will work better for me. But it was a very hard decision and the Doran is very pretty.

The color of the boards varied from lighter to darker...
The color of the boards varied from lighter to darker than the images showed so we had to get a bit creative matching the floor boards with the existing stair treads. But the floors look and feel great.
