For such an expensive product the fact that the 6 doors and 4 drawer handles are PLASTIC is kind of laughable. How are you going to charge $800 for wood and then plastic which is like the main feature. Also, the hardware should just come on everything already and then customers put it together, why make us put on the hardware and prep building it, stupid of you ask me. This took my husband and I about 5 hours to put together. Frustrating process to say the least.

This armoire by Manhattan Comfort has been nothing but a huge waste of time money and energy. The design is fatally flawed where the doors will break off the unit. Why? Because they used tiny shallow screws to hold the brackets together and cheap MDF particle wood. It took over 12 hours to get to the final part, the doors, and then they fell apart. Incredibly frustrating process. Avoid this company and this product at all costs or waste your time, energy, and money like I did. Why they would use the smallest, shallowest screw for the main functional moving part of the furniture is beyond me. Not a smart design at all.

Everything was excellent until it came to installing doors. First of all doors do not have predrilled holes to mount the hinges. Same goes for the holes in the cabinet. after screwing the hole in the door it just keeps on turning would not stay tight. With all the cabinet door weight it should really have better predrilled holes with anchors to secure it. then after figuring that out the door handle hole would not match up, so had to figure that out which took couple hours (waste of time). But at the end it looks beautiful.

Be ready to take your time and get ready to put a lot of parts together. It went together with very little adjustments. Looks great but make sure you put it together very close to were you want it at the end. It is heavy.

I bought two of these from HomeDepot.com and though they took longer to get to me than I would have liked (Ordered 12/1/2016, Delivered 1/05/2017,) I can find no major fault with the quality of the furniture. I do have a couple small things to comment on however. First, The material. The description said it was made of MDF. The item is mostly particle board. With the exception of the doors, and outside side panels (and I cannot remember if the bottom is or isn't MDF,) the rest is particle board. This is common as anyone who has ever bought IKEA knows but I just think it should be noted. Second, fasteners. A LOT of screws go into this build. The provided screws are a fine threaded self tapping screw. In my experience, I find a more coarse threaded screw bites into and holds better in something like particle board. I've only completed the assembly of my units so far and I plan to use my own fasteners for the second and see if It doesn't feel more solid (Spax MDF screws.) Finally, CHEAP plastic handles for the doors and drawers (this is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.) These are easy enough to replace but they would have a MUCH classier piece if they shipped it with better handles and Don't get me started on drawer slides. Switching to a full extension slide that attaches to the cabinet and then locks the drawer in lets the drawer frame add to the structural integrity of the whole and makes it feel much more solid. Final notes that might help buyers: Doors and Hinges: When installing doors, remove the set screw from the portion of the hinge attached to the cabinet and when you slide the door on, be SURE the notch in the adjustment screw goes into the groove on the bracket (sometimes it's easiest to turn that screw all the way down to give you room to work.) Once it is in there, screw on the set screw. If you do this, the doors go on easy as pie and pretty much align themselves. Also, do the hinges ONE at a time. I started with the middle one with the other two folded in. Once it was secure, I could align and screw in the other two easily. Structural integrity: You would not believe how must of the structural integrity comes form the flimsy backs provided with much DIY furniture. This piece is no exception. I think everybody has at one point, gotten done and then added two or three nails per panel just to hold them in place. The are just decoration, right? WRONG! If the item feels shaky, get your hammer and the bag of nails provided and put the rest of the into the piece. Or do like I did and get yourself a decent 18-ga nail gun and secure the back. Hardboard is rigid and provides support across the furniture, Without it, you do end up with something that shifts and feels cheap.

the fright company called a week before, then never hear from them again. until i spent 2 hours to call home depot, but nobody answered HD phone! I had to call the fright again, after another 2 hours, I got the product 5 days later! the boxes arrived with one box damaged, but my contractor didn't noticed until he installed, the outside panel is damaged!!! but not the last! the drawers are way too smaller than the space they should go into

In any home storage space can be scarce, this unit provides a quick solution that can seamlessly fit into any decor. The unit is rather large and additional space should be considered for installation, especially height wise. Directions can be quiet confusing with all the pieces arriving in different boxes, I opened up every box and laid them all out confirming all the pieces as shown in the manual. It comes with all the hardware - screws, door hinges, handles. It took about 2-3 hours to get setup and put together, not a simple thing to construct. Once it is all together it provided a sturdy and high quality build. The anti-microbacterial paint is an added feature of this system, especially with small children. This unit has held up great and has withstood the past few months and don't expect any issues. The storage is great with space for hanging clothes as well as storage in drawers.

Not all of the doors were drilled for handles. Handles are cheap plastic. I ended up replacing with IKEA metal ones. Took over 10 hours to assemble. Some boards are not straight from shipping so adjusting them was very tedious. Overall happy for the price I paid

I both it 2 months ago it’s been just few days I’m using everything getting separate from each others . It’s not strong . It’s so cheap product compared to money don’t waste your money on that product. It’s fake and light it’s just looks good on the picture and real life not worth it

I needed a large closet and I bought this it looked beautiful but the doors crumbled and it would take about 4 or 5 hours to assemble it. My husband tried to repair with bigger screws but that only took a few weeks. Now I have a closet without doors because they fell apart. Every time I look at it, I regret having paid so much money for this. Don't waste your money here, or you'll regret buying it.

So many items is missing and door is not fitted properly. Big that why I didn’t return.

Lovely big closet, set up wasn't bad but does take 2 people.

Overall a good quality wardrobe but it should have had at least 1 or 2 more inches depth so that mens blazers would fit properly and the drawers are flimsy and should have been a bit deeper.

Very lucky that it fit our wall area perfectly since this is a massive unit (compared to our house). The hardware is indeed very cheap.. plastic, not sturdy, just plain cheap. I will be ordering new hardware. The delivery part was not so smooth. Scheduled for one day,, they never delivered.. I wasted a whole day waiting for them. The re-scheduled date was better, they delivered. But the delivery guy was dramatic about delivering the boxes inside the house. Made a whole production to get some kind of tip I suspect, which I did give him. But the whole experience was unnecessary. Home Depot- be aware of your third party vendors. They can also reflect poorly on your customer experience.

The closet have very cheap quality of hardware.the materials he been made are cheap also.however The assembly method very friendly and clear.the price is fair enough for this product !

Overall great piece. Image looks exactly how it will come out. I wish the material was a little better but it is what it is. I replaced the handles for the drawers to better ones (instead of plastic) and also ensure your floor is leveled evenly, if not then the doors can be uneven. Very easy to play with the hinges until you get it right.

Very poor quality. Few parts was missing So I have one less drawer.

I bought this and was so excited about it. I picked it up and couldn’t believe how many heavy boxes there were. Fast forward three days it took to carefully set it up. The doors won’t go on evenly, they won’t stay on.. I can’t believe I paid over a thousand dollars for absolute garbage. Home Depot should be refunding the people who have these experiences, or just flat out don’t sell the product if this is what everyone is dealing with. I’m disappointed to say the least and I am at a loss with what to do, it’s too large to return it. I want my money back. Don’t waste your money on this.

Not the best quality, very hard to put together.

It arrives in 5 heavy boxes that will be summarily dumped in your driveway. You may want to open each box in the driveway and drag all the stuff inside in manageable chunks. Don't do that. Bring in the boxes. Instructions are in the smallest box. None of the pieces are labeled (!!l and the easiest way to detemine which of the many parts you need is to consult the instructions, which lists the contents by box. When putting it together, you may notice that some holes are not drilled where they should be drilled and some small parts are missing. You'll likely get past this, maybe involving a trip to the hardware store and/or some careful measuring. The instructions are sort of okay. You'll probably need the company video too. The video instructions differ from the manual's...so there's that. The door handles feel cheap. The thing is a huge pain in the rear to assemble and I feel it isnt worth the money.

Terrible! poor quality materials, less functionality than you think, and broken within 5 months. Expensive for trash!

It started falling apart as soon as it was put together. The doors won't stay on and the drawer slides fell off.

The material of this is very cheap and flimsy. Regret paying so much money for such a waste.
