This round tee required clamps as the ends were not tapered or crimped.

Good stuff

Poorly made has major leaks and must be sealed. I went to a competitor and bought a similar well-made t for same money

This tee is poorly made. Although the pieces seem to be cut to fit right the construction is very weak as follows: 1. There is quite a bit of gap at the location of the side branch and therefore a lot of conditioned air will leak. 2. The closure method of the side tee round outlet is very weak and one of the purchased tees came apart forcing me to mend the break. 3. The metal is way too thin and bends very easy. This fact also makes it hard to connect pipe a use metal screws. This is junk and paying almost $13/each is a real RIP off. I ended up using them because it would cost more money in gas to return them. I would never recommend this product to anyone. I am actually quite surprised that Home Depot even sells such poor quality merchandise.

ductwork part worked well; we needed to add a line at a 90-degree angle to a 12-inch round duct; i cut a round hole in it, then cut the t-fitting open at the straight part and spread it open to fit over the 12-inch duct, lined up the hole, and sealed it up with LOTS of sealant and ducttape. success!
