This cap worked perfectly for my needs -- to cover a gap in the floor of my fireplace.

I think it's weird you are asking for a review on a product that serves a single purpose like "restrict air flow". My 5-star review is that it did an excellent job properly restricting air flow as designed.

I used this for a roof repair where a small hole had developed from a leaking roof nail on an 80 year old garage. The metal is plenty thick and it worked perfectly after I cut off the pressed edge.

I purchased this product to fabricate a shroud that covers my mulching lawn mower exhaust port. The metal is pliable so I could bend it into the shape required yet seems to be sturdy enough to last.

Cap is what you would expect. Fits, clips, and is square.

The product fit as advertised. I was able to salvage some of the sliding metal strips on the open connection to lock it into place. A little foil duct tape makes it look extremely neat. Nice finish.
