Worked well to replace a lock

Bought these for my tool trailer. Seem like secure locks, the problem is they freeze, not allowing the key to turn. I’m not talking about any harsh weather, just below freezing temps overnight. They are definitely not outdoor quality.

These locks are great for storage buildings or pods. Only open with a key.

GOOD LOCK TO PREVENT BREAK-INS AT OUTDOOR SHED

I purchased this lock to use at a rental outdoor storage facility. Pros: Its a keyed lock and came with two keys. Has a great rubber cover that slides over the key hole. Con: Would not unlock after 24hrs of use. These locks used at storage units sit at about a 45 degree angle which effected how the lock works. I believe in my case the pins in the lock got stuck at that angle. I had to bang on the lock to get the mechanism to allow the key to turn. I was luck and did not have to cut the lock off to get access to my storage unit. I returned lock for refund. Did not want the hassle of dealing with Masterlock customer service. I bought another brand from the storage facility. Maybe mine was a fluke because I see many of these locks in use

Heavy Duty, very secure. Reasonably priced padlock with 2 keys.

One lock functions properly, the other wont open. Unable to refund at curbside, as I wont go in the store, so I ended up with one lock to use and another to throw away.

Storage used to get broken into until I bought this lock. Strong and reliable. Went back and got another.

This lock can be easily defeated, and commonly used by the people who no longer have their possessions.

Fits perfectly on both locked doors of my storage unit. No “wiggle-jiggle” room for someone to insert a crowbar. We’ll see if both locks hold.
