[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Smoke a 9lb pork butt on my Signature Series smoker and used cherry wood for smoking. It turned out great.

Came w a crushed door & still hasn’t been replaced

I got this a couple of days before Father’s Day 2023. I followed directions and did 2 hours 15 minutes at top temp and then 45 min with chips to season the smoker. No problems after the seasoning process. So today, Monday after Father’s Day, I decided to slow cook 2 pork shoulders in the smoker. The temp was at 250 degrees, with water filled in the water holder. I smoked for 4 hours, took temp, added more wood chips and smoked for another three. At 11:00pm at night I go out and retrieve the pork, I find in several spots around the door frame that the paint had wrinkled up and is falling off of the door and the unit. Warranty states that Masterbuilt is not responsible for paint finish as it can burn off. I’ve used this once, at 250 degrees for 7 hours. The paint should have lasted longer than 7 hours!

Great smoker but already rusting to the point I can poke holes in it with my finger. I kept this unit on a covered porch. Zero stars for durability, 2 stars overall. If it didn’t rust out so quick I’d give it 4 stars overall

Bought 10 months ago broken down while smoking a prime rib just popped circuit breaker half way through very bummed

Dear Masterbuilt, I just wanted to say thank you again for your outstanding customer service support! Once again you have impressed me with how you have taken care of me as a customer! The replacement temperature gauge is just what I needed to fix the temperature gauge in my electric smoker!!! Although we did cook in our electric smoker while the temperature gauge needed replacing, this takes the guess work out of trying to figure out what the temperature was in our smoker! We are planning on loading our smoker up with meats this weekend!!!

I couldn’t be happier with this purchase! I’ve done ribs and a pork butt so far and both came out extremely juicy. Some may not like having to add woods chips manually, but I do prefer that rather than the set and forget smokers.

I loved this thing so much, it is my first smoker, my wife got it for me for Xmas and I used it to make Xmas dinner and New Years dinner and it definitely did it’s job!

I love the smoker but noticed after my 3 cook that the door jam started melting. It looks like it’s a plastic piece. Any ideas how to contact @support to get this addressed?

Bought a smoker and was so happy with the way it cooked but the craftsmanship was a let down. I’m a welder/fabricator by trade so when I noticed rust underneath the paint it was a let down. I mean right outta the box. Had to use it b/c we had company coming and it works great besides it’s already rusted!!

This unit is not insulated. My new unit will only get above 180F. Not hot enough to smoke dry wood chips. The smallest breeze will cause the temperature to drop 10-15 degrees.

My electric smoker arrived last Monday and after seasoning it yesterday I put to use today. Four pounds of Scottish Salmon, brined over night (nine hours) and smoked for three hours today. Moist, flavorful and delicious! My in-laws couldn’t believe how good it turned out from this small and inexpensive unit. Going to smoke brisket next with confidence!

My son-in-law got one and my husband seemed interested so I surprised him with one. He loves it!

I have had this one for a year and no issues. Kept it in a dry place and took care of it. But I went to use it today and hinges on the door just broke off.. I’m pretty angry and thought it would last longer than a year

No more waiting for friends to bring me Smoked Meats. Best investment I have made. It's like taking your cooking outside. Easy easy my favorite is cherry wood smoked chicken.

I bought this smoker about a month or so ago and it was the best purchase I have made all year. It was suppose to be a gift for my husband but I have been the one using it more than he has. This is perfect for someone who is a beginner in smoking. Have already recommended this to many of my friends.

I bought this smoker from Masterbuilt...I received a partial item. I received a completely sealed package, with missing components(see photo) I had to figure out was the right part and go to the hardware store a purchase. The smoker won't maintain correct temp. Doesnt heat up enough to smoke. I had to burn the chips with a blow torch to get even the smallest amount of smoke. The smoker pan was incorrectly built so the lid wouldn't fit. I had to fix that as well. All in all, would not recommend.

Bought it a few months back and it is perfect. Smoked ribs, butts, fish and made my own bacon. Excellent flavor all the way thru.

I have had this product for about a year. Using my Masterbuilt smoker has opened the door to more flavors than I could imagine. Smoking food adds so much more to all kinds of meats and it has allowed me to experiment with different woods. Finding out that you can make quality smoked food at home and not having to pay the high restaurant prices is awesome.

Had been eyeing a smoker for a while finally saw a glass door version. This looks like a fridge but don’t be deceived. Controls heat very well and large enough even for the biggest Turkey. Compact and can be used with or without smoke for those who need an extra oven (Xmas ham).

Have smoked meats from ham, ribs, brisket and more! This smoker has been great! Easy to use and add chips! bought the side smoker for the winter, which was a great buy!

My daughter gave me the smoker for Father’s Day this past year. This is the best gift ever and is used every single weekend! I am becoming a smoker champ and love the time it gives for conversion while we all wait!!

I bought this smoker 18 months ago and have loved using it. I've smoked chicken, turkey, ribs and brisket in it and they all turned out fantastic.

I habe the pellet 30 inch smoker and its easy to use and has awesome taste i can put a chicken on in the morning and when me and my wife take lunch its ready.

Top element is a nice featurePurchased the MES 130 P about five weeks ago I have smoked sausage brisket chicken pastrami to Name a few smoker does not create a lot of smoke watch under 240° which is very disappointing to me I like a slow smoke especially for Bacon and sausage Thought I could get the slow smoker cooker to solve the problem finding out it’s not available And they don’t know when or if ever will be again chip tray could be bigger the Bluetooth is useless unless you want to stay within 15 20 feet away I expected better I have thermometers that will go Five times as far

My wife got me this for an early Christmas present we open it up (no dent in the box or anything out of the ordinary) we open it up and there is a big dent in it as you can see in the picture so not only did it happen when they made it they didn’t fix it they just packaged it up and sent it away. This thing is like tinfoil thick can’t hold heat

We Smoked our first ever pork butt and it was incredible! So easy to use and easy clean up. I recommend spraying the racks with cooking spray prior to use for ease of cleaning. We covered the smoker floor with foil for easy clean up as well. We love it!
