This is my 3rd Masterbuilt Smoker and I am not disappointed. Already made Venison Summer Sausage and smoked kielbasa . Temps hold solid with vent on the opposite side of the heat source and the smoker holds plenty of product. Would have gone 5 stars but the spring on the latch ha popped out and I will need to contact Masterbuilt after the holidays for replacement. (Latch still works)

Yo, if your into smoking, this is the Ticket! I upgraded from the 30" without the stand or wheels & it is a must as you get older & harder to bend all the way to the ground. With the 40" on wheels & stand, Light, Blue Tooth & Meat Probe, it upped my game to a Pro! I also added the Side Smoker, which does Cheese & Poppers out of this world! I loved this so much, I ordered a 2nd one for my Son & a 3rd one for a co-worker! They call it MASTERBUILT for a Good Reason!

Smoker takes a long time to reach target temperature. Took almost 3 hours to reach 225.

Takes forever to light. Need to check constantly to see if it’s still lit.  If it stays lit it smokes meat fine but rarely does. Would never buy another.

I have gone through 2 of these electrical smokers in 4 years. Both smokers digital panel went out. This last one I bought a cover for and it completely rusted out.

JUNK , read reviews of these junk smokers before you buy . As allot of reviews have said , they stop working soon after purchase , mine is less than a year , used twice , burner no longer turns , USED 2 TIMES .Throwing it in the dumpster . Never ahain with Masterjunk grills. My second one , first on lasted about 3 years . JUNK

Got this smoker from my children for Mother's Day and was thrilled. When it works it smokes great, but often have trouble keeping the chips producing smoke. Now, not quite 2 years later, it keeps blowing the circuit as it starts to heat. Time for a new smoker. Maybe not Masterbuilt.

I purchased this product 9/15/23. Worked great until 3/10/24. I had 3 9 lb brisket ready to make pastrami.(7 day brine spices )you get the idea.The digital control unit on top w turn but would not respond . Tried resetting per lousy troubleshooting instructions Tried cust. service, all automated can't get a human even under warranty . The under

I set it up in the morning then go and work around the house and a few hours later I smell the delicious food. So easy and delicious. My family and I LOVE this smoker!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased a Masterbuilt electric smoker and OMG!!! I cannot get enough of using it. For christmas, I smoked 2 prime ribs and mixed a horseradish butter which I basted it with. After dinner, (had a lot of guests), I had a small piece left which I quickly wrapped and hid. Everyone raved about how good and juicy it was. Since then, I've smoked a pork shoulder and again, it was fabulous. For easter, I'm smoking a turkey and can't wait. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ran this as my primary smoker for around 18 months before getting a Gravity Series 800. It was great for the price and easy of use as a first time smoker. Made ribs, chicken, pulled pork all with great success. To small and not enough smoke for brisket which is why I upgraded. It doesn't work well in the cold winter months without something to block wind and try to keep heat in. It also doesn't get above 250F in my experience the actual temperature on the inside differed from the read out by around 25 degrees. Not a deal breaker just something to verify and test with your own unit. The drip tray is also a bit small if you smoke something with allot of fat make sure you put a disposable tray in the bottom.

We have had our smoker for awhile and have used it many times. It’s well seasoned but I still like keeping my glass door nice and clean for an easy view

This has really stepped up my smoking game and it is so much easier to use. The ability to add wood chips mid smoking is really great. Plus the digital temperature control is really much better.

Even temperatures and great smoke production make this a wonderful choice for a first-time smoke purchase, or a hard-core smoke enthusiast. The meats taste fantastic. We've smoked pork butts and shoulders for most and delicious pulled pork, pork chops, brush beef briskets, salmon, and even made beef jerky in ours. And when we fire it up, the entire neighborhood can smell it. And it's super easy to use. Can't wait to use it again! Don't know why we never bought one sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this smoker and for the price it is pretty good. It has reasonable room and does a good job. Would be 5 starts but it is held back by the fact that it struggles to get to and to hold higher temperatures, and it is rusting a little too soon. I know I should expect some rust on a smoker even if I take very good care of it and clean it well. This one has been pretty good at holding off rust except down around the heating element where the chip box tray rusted out very quickly. It still works but the tray is sitting right on the element on one side.

I have wanted to try to cold smoke but it seemed to hard to get set up. This smoker made it easy to get started and the finished product was wonderful. Both wife and daughter, my greatest critics, enjoyed the fish and the bacon. (Done on separate occasions)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had this 30 inch Digital Electric Smoker for years. Have cooked all the usual proteins and veggies this unit just keeps producing great food. It also doubles as a great warming cabinet for those large holiday meals when not the star of the meal.

Waiting for good weather to try it out. Product looks good so far.
