I just needed something to move some air around my shop. Nothing fancy and it had to be lightweight and small enough I could store away when not needed. This fan does this trick. It's really no frills, just three speeds and adjusts to tilt up or down. It's relatively quiet although on high it's enough you'd turn your music up. The plastic body is fine, but you can deflect the grill just enough that it would brush against the fan blades, so perhaps a little on the light duty side of things.
Great fan moves plenty of air. The noise level is perfect if you like background noise in your bedroom. It has nice broad feet to keep it from falling over. It comes with three speeds so you can slow down the air circulation. Its called a floor fan but it also works great on a table or night stand. It is fully adjustable so you can face it up to the ceiling to move the warm air around.
This all-purpose fan may be light weight but not in the CFM’s At high speed it delivers 800 CFM. It has three speeds but not sure what CFM is the on low and medium speed. I could not find it on the box or instructions. The fan head tilts up to 90° backwards and clicks firmly in place. The only issue is high speed it is a bit noisy. If you are watching TV you will defiantly have to turn up the volume. It does put out a lot of air though. I had been using it for cleaning carpets to help it dry quicker. At high speed it uses about 60 watts of power. The fan I great little fan It comes with a 1-year limited manufacturer warranty
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight, good quaily of air movement, three speed, max 800 cfm
This floor fan is quiet, with well-balanced fan blades. It moves a good amount of air at several adjustable angles in a 90 degree radius (see pictures) with three different speed adjustments.
It has a nice carrying handle built into the top of the fan (see picture) so you can easily pick it up and move it room to room.
It tilts vertically in seven fixed increments up to 90 degrees from vertical (see pictures), so there are a wide range of angles for the air flow from the fan.
The cord is about 6 feet in length, and it has a fused wall plug (see picture). Having the fused plug is a very good safety feature, and the manual that came with the fan gives good instructions on how to change the fuse if you ever need to do so (2.5 Amp 125 Volt fuse).
Another good safety feature is the spacing of the segments of the grill covering the fan blades. No little fingers can fit in through the grill, so it is safe to have around children (see picture).
Lastly, the feet on both ends of the fan are nice and wide to prevent tipping. You do have to install the feet yourself, but it is easily to push them into place and listen for the loud “click” to confirm they are latched into place (see picture).
I don’t think you can find a better fan in this size! I highly recommend this fan!
Pros: Easy to Use, Good Size & Weight, Looks Great, Nice Design, Sturdy
I use this fan in a window to draw cooler air inside. It is perfect for that purpose. I wanted a smaller fan to use in autumn, so that I could choose a slower speed on much cooler nights, and this fan has three very different speeds. The 14-inch fan blade does not move huge amounts of air, to the bedroom I have the fan in is nice a cool at night, but not freezing cold. If someone else likes this idea, make sure you have a wide enough surface in the window to place the fan so that it is stable. I added a 5-inch wide board to the width of the inside of the window so that the fan's feet would be totally level and secure. It works wonderfully!
Nice fan for moving to where air is needed. I mounted it to a piece of plywood and set it up in the rafters of my workshop to keep the air moving on those hot dry days when wind is not moving. It helps with air movement from my floor air conditioner vents and cools a room down faster than just the forced air from the vent. The fan comes with a set of snap-on feet so it can sit on the floor and be tilted where you want the air to move. It is also pretty quiet even at high speed.
