Stovetop is very good in both function and surface area. Oven is not as impressive: -No keypad for oven - up/down arrows for temp -Racks & bottom drawer are flimsy -Oven flame heats & flame broils. It makes a loud flame ignition sound about every 5 minutes. -It is 120V not 270V. Check before you order!!

Great price and has all the features we wanted!

I had this range installed today. It’s everything I wanted especially oval burner, convection and air fry. I bought the griddle and broiler pan to go with it. I cooked a dozen eggs on the griddle today and it was perfect. I like the broiler in the oven that was most important feature for me (Whirlpool has broiler in bottom drawer). I’m glad I got the stainless color because it doesn’t leave fingerprints like my other black appliances do….when I replace them I will definitely get stainless. This is funny but I like the blue display which matches the flame on the burners. The blue is very calming. I like the black on stainless cooktop on the range. I’m excited I made the right choice.

Sure having a convection oven, with a built in air fryer would be nice; let's be honest, those features will go mostly un-used. For the typical every-day culinary enthusiast, it does everything I need it to at a fraction of the cost.

When I use it for a large pan, I can't use the other burners for side dishes. Also the heat doesn't reach the long edges of the pan, so it defeats the purpose

This Maytag stove is a great buy and it performs wonderfully. I am truly impressed by its functionality as everything worked from the easy install to the cooktop and oven as well that it was easy to keep clean. Definitely recommend it and it won't break the bank. Also the manufacturer gives a ten year warranty on this appliance now that's peace of mind. Thanks Home Depot for having this in stock.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the range now for about 6 weeks. It is a beautiful appliance and operates fine. However, there are some issues we have. First, the grate for the stovetop is difficult to manage. We have already scratched the stovetop finish removing it to clean. The size of the dual grates also make them very difficult to properly clean. The clean oven feature seems scary if following the instructions. I'm not sure we'll use it! It includes a warning that the enamel could crack, among other dire warning. Finally, the burners burn hot! We've had to turn all of the burners down as it was just impossible to get a simmer out of them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is pretty much a basic gas range - no convection and no air fry. We did not want either of those "features" and were happy we did not have to pay for features we won't use. Have had this for a couple of weeks and the oven temps seem to be quite accurate, the oven holds its temp reasonably well and does not cycle the burner very often. Only question is why have two large "power burners" besides the oval in the middle - and why both in front. It's very difficult to use a small pot in the front because the burner is too large (when already using the normal burner in the back) so you have to turn the burner way down so the flame is not up the sides of the pot. This leaves very little adjustment to control boiling or burning of the food. It also requires reaching across the large burners to stir anything on the lower or "simmer" burners - a little dangerous. It seems, however, that the burner size/positions are very common across range mfrs/brands now-a-days so I don't fault this brand group alone. That being said we, overall, like this range.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gas burners flames are too high. Can't get it low enough too simmer foods. The oven is designed to re-ignite every 2 minutes. Never had an oven do that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 1 month in and all is Great. not sure if someone reads this from maytag but i had previously said there was oil under the oven bottom cover that i had to wipe out after i turned it on and it started to smoke so is that important.i would think it is.

The clean oven cycle is not simple and I may be better off without it. There is a lot of prep necessary and the warnings in the owners manual make me afraid to attempt it. There is less real estate on the cook surface than it appears and I have trouble fitting three frying pans on the cooktop. The burners are shipped with the gas flames set high. You will have to follow instructions to lower them to achieve a simmer. The grate setup for the cooktop makes cleaning a bit cumbersome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how the controls tell you the oven temperature as it preheats. I have made pancakes on the 5th burner. It will take some getting used to, but I also look forward to using it to make gravy in the roasting pan. Beautiful looking appliance.

If you’re looking for a gas range that does the basics really well, then this one is for you. The burners heat evenly and the fifth burner is convenient when using a long pot. You can even buy a griddle separately to use on the fifth burner for making pancakes and burgers, etc. I’m not sure if it’s my imagination, but water seems to boil faster on this cooktop. So far I’ve only used the oven for baking cookies, but they came out chewy and delicious. I like that the oven has a delay start feature, so you can set it ahead of time. I also like that the oven light comes on automatically when you open the oven door. The knobs are self-explanatory and the digital panel is easy to follow. The LED display is orange, which makes it easy to see from anywhere in the kitchen. The edge to edge grates make the cooktop look really stunning. To top it all off, it’s self-cleaning! I am so glad that I chose this range - I’m really happy with it.

I’ve purchased this same unit around 5 times for separate apartments and I’ve purchased other brands - only this brand and model has lived through the test of time
