Great Features

Looks nice

Wish I had ordered a different style...
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was disappointed that the height of my new dryer was much shorter than my Maytag washer. I wanted them to be even height. I did not measure correctly apparently. I think I prefer the knob as opposed to the digital screen. Lastly, the new dryer is much louder than my old dryer .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works well, but don't leave anything sitting on top while it's running. It will come sliding off. It's beveled on top instead of flat like the one I had for over 30 years. I always left a clothes basket sitting on top to put clothes in when finished. It crashed to the ground ten minutes into drying cycle.

I like it that my dryer opperates quietly and that the end of cycle sound is one that gets ones attention no matter where i am in the house. No more laundry getting forgotten in the dryer .
I love all the different drying options and the ease of access to ones laundry once it is dry.

Limited Features but does what you need it to do

Nice appliance!

If I had any complaint, I would say the door closing is loud as well as the timer being loud. The appliance itself Looks really nice. Thank you, Maytag.

DO NOT BUY THIS OR TRUST HOME DEPOT FOR RELIABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SUPPORT
Less than a week after delivery the unit stopped working due to a "sensing issue". More than 10 days after notifying Home Depot and Maytag of the problem I still do not have a functioning dryer and the customer service associated with this transaction is one of the more horrifying experiences I have ever had. Maytag has sent a repair man who was unable to fix the unit and subsequently cracked the unit after trying to repair. Home Depot has not been helpful and rude.

Fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had it for a week, but it dries faster than our old drier. Seems to catch a lot of lint, which is good because we have cats. The only minor concern is that it seems to dry quite hot. We dry mostly on low, and it's pretty hot. I can't see ever using the medium or high settings.
