This is a very good refrigerator for the price. I purchased it on sale for about $200 off of the original price. I paid about $600 before tax and the ice maker water line. This is a nice size 20.6 CF and provides easy access to foods. The water line was about $10. The appliance is black which I wanted to match other appliances in my kitchen. The delivery was no cost, on time, and included the installation of the unit in my kitchen. The ice maker works great. And, it is very energy efficient. My only issue is that the freezer motor is a little noisy. Otherwise, this is a great value for the money.

The door storage is nicely laid out the inside of the fridge is nicely laid out. The ice maker is horrid. Had a Kenmore before the ice maker was much better.

It was time to replace the 32 year old Hotpoint that served us well, but it was running ALL the time and seemed noisy This Maytag is WONDERFUL ! Bright on the inside of the lower part - easy to see and easy access...I Love being able to put a gallon of milk in the door. And, my first ever ice-maker is a treat! Amazingly quiet, too. They say it will only cost $44/yr to operate - I can't wait to see the lower electric bills. I was concerned about the color since the pic of this model at 2 sellers looked pink-ish to me, but it is not at all - a true neutral bisq. Home Depot has won me over with the entire experience - communication, quickness, professional delivery crew and price!

Great fridge. Had everything we expected and more. It looks great and works great.

Work well. Runs very quiet. Maintains frozen food at correct temps. Only question is why did the doors begin making noise when opened and closed.

I just love my Maytag Refrigerator. I have plenty of room for my food. It's easy to clean. The crisper drawers work great. My lettuce and other veggies stay fresher longer. I have the black one. It is pretty and I am proud of it. When the doors shut they are closed good. I love how I can put the shelves wherever they are needed to my use. Even the door shelves can be adjusted. All in all great fridge. My mom had a Maytag Fridge and I followed suit. I have never been happier. I made a great choice in purchasing this product from Maytag. I love the ice-maker. Way better than making ice cubes with ice trays or purchasing ice at the store everyday. I like that it is energy efficient and saves me money in the long run. Purchase one. You will be glad you did. I sure am.

I love that it is self defrost. I like the room that I have in it. Just perfect for me. Love having an ice maker that works well. It is a very attractive looking refrigerator. Looks great in my kitchen. Now to get a matching stove and I am good to go. Customer service was great. It was shipped when it was said it would be here. Delivery men were very polite. Got in and out in a short amount of time. They new exactly what they were doing and got it done. Would certainly do business with Home Depot again in the future. I also love that it is an Energy Saver.

The time had come when I had to have a refrigerator, mine was gone and using a dorm size borrowed one until my new one was delivered. Shopping for great Good Friday Deals, searching used ones also, Ebay, Craig's List, individual adv, scratch and dent stores, and other retail stores, after reviewing Home Depot through my Bill Me Later from Paypal deals to review, I saw this refrigerator and loved it right away, but kept searching for the best deal, 24 hours later this deal was the one to accept, the deal got better with further reduction, I bought a new one for the best deal between used ones, scratch and dents, etc, Home Depot is the chosen place to shop for great deals, great Customer Service. Thanks for the opportunity to share this with others.

I needed a new refrigerator for our condo when our last one stopped working; Home Depot had a nice variety to choose from and the space I had available was very limiting. I am happy with my choice and that I could get the color I needed and that delivery was within the same week!

This refrigerator is very roomy able to get everything in it after grocery shopping with out having to worry about things falling out when I open the door. Ice maker is great to.

I love my new refrigerator! The ice maker works GREAT, the fridge fits perfectly in my space, it stays quiet, it's easy to adjust the temperature, and it holds a LOT of stuff. Can't beat it, hopefully it'll last me several years!

Good basic features for a budget refrigerator. The controls are simple. Ice maker included. Lots of shelves. It has much less noise when running than my previous refrigerator. The energy efficiency makes the cost per year very low.

This was a direct replacement of a 1997 model. The only thing that has changed it there is no light in the freezer compartment. The door shelves are very well designed and easy to adjust. The interior light is bright and allows easy viewing of your inventory. The only thing that is of note is that the cheese/lunch meat drawer does not have a travel stop...this drawer will roll all the way out and if you're not careful you will end up with the drawer and it's contents on the floor.

I am replacing a whirlpool gold series fridge in bisque with this Maytag stainless steel one. Maytag is part of whirlpool and I like whirlpool so I bought this one. It basically is the same fridge I am replcing, with a very few differences. One diff is that there is no light in the freezer of the new one...not something I noticed until I had it at home, but no big deal. My old whirpool worked great and this one should too. Home Depot had a great price, and the delivery people were out-of-sight!!! They were great, and spent a couple extra minutes to make sure I understood how to set the fridge up.

We've only had the refrigerator for 16 days now, but I love it, already. We were limited by the size of the space in our kitchen, so this seemed like our best option. And ... it was on sale! It's got a lot of room in the freezer, even after allowing for the ice maker. The fridge portion is roomy, too. Materials are mostly plastic and a little on the flimsy side, but unless you are wrestling in there, you shouldn't have any problems. The stainless steel is only on the front; sides are black. So far, it has been keeping everything the correct temperature, and there have been no problems. Vast improvement from the old thing we had hauled away. Thanks, HD!

It's has the same room and features as other comparable refrigerators, but it cost about $300 less. It's big and has lots of shelves. The ice maker filled up with 24 hours.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Has worked without a hitch for 8 years..now ice maker quit with no warning. It will be a costly fix unfortunately. The owner's manual is not helpful --cannot find any water filter on this unit.

We bought this fridge in July 2013. The temperature in the fridge is inconsistent and we frequently toss foods that have been frozen. If we make any adjustment warmer, the frozen foods become soft. I have followed the cleaning instructions but it always looks dirty and smudged, and brown spots (rust?!) formed on the front panel in the first year we owned it. Shopping for a replacement now. So sorry we ever purchased this product.

Bought this fridge in 2013 based on the Maytag name, how it looked and the size. 2018 the fridge is dead. Repair man just left and now i'm shopping for another one. Won't go back to this brand.

I purchased the above refrigerator on 9/1/2014. In the last month, I have thrown out more fruit and vegetables due to freezing than I care to mention. We have the temperature control set at the manufacturer's recommended setting. We have tried moving it one snowflake to the right. That doesn't help either. I just makes the ice cream, etc., soft. What do you feel is our problem and what is your recommendation

If I could give 0 star rating, I would. I purchased 20.6 cu. ft. Top Freezer Refrigerator (Model#: M1TXEGMYB) as a second refrigerator for drinks and fruits. It stopped working right after 3 years since the purchased date. First, the fridge bottom started freeze up everything, then, the freezer part stopped working after restart as directed. Called Maytag, found out the service call alone is $99, then the parts and labor are extra. Really, Maytag? I bought this Refrigerator just because of the name. I guess Maytag cannot be trusted anymore!

Our fridg. is about 4 yrs. old. Worse one we have had in 50 yrs. of house keeping.

I bought this for my grandmother in hopes that I wouldn't need to worry about any issues buying a used frig. Here I am now, 1.5 years from purchase and the refrigerator is not cooling. I am assuming it's the blower fan as someone else mentioned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since purchasing in 2013, I recently have needed to repair the evaporator fan motor and a strange clicking now which turns the cooling elements off and on every 3 seconds or so. I tried replacing the control board, but the sound is back again. I'll need to call a repair tech and spend a bunch of money, not knowing if it will just need more repairs. Thinking twice about the good Maytag name...
