The only issue I have had is the drum light isn’t very bright. I have a Maytag washer I bought about 3 years ago. I love it and that is why I wanted a Maytag dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have has my Maytag dryer for about a month now and I love it, it works great. Download the app and customize your own drying times and temperature. It even tells me on my Apple Watch when the dryer is done.

I purchased this set excited since Maytag it’s a renowned brand ,, it has lots of bells and whistle but a falls short in quality control!! Thank God I purchased a 3 year warranty, at this point waiting of my second service visit !!! It’s a bad product!!

I have had it 1 month and it’s already giving me error cods and the lint when you go to clean it after each use the lint gets scraped back into the dryer which defies the purpose of cleaning it out. Would not buy it again for the price I paid it should not be giving me trouble for a long time. $902.

This attractive dryer has many new features that revolutionize the drying process including functional heat settings and “light touch” buttons. It will change your approach to using a dryer. This isn't my first sensor dryer, but it's definitely the first sensor dryer I own that actually does a fantastic job at sensing how dry the clothes are. My last two dryers were sensor (LG & Midea) and they always left my clothes damp. I opted out of using anything but timed dry on high. My friend with a Samsung sensor dryer does the same. But this Maytag dryer not only senses it, but it has an Extra Power button that increases heat and tumbling for thicker items. I tested this out on a king-sized blanket with three throw blankets and was SO impressed with how well it dried! I also love the Wrinkle Prevention option that tumbles close for up to 150 minutes with steam after it's done drying. I use it often on my daughter's clothes and don't find myself ironing as much! Nothing is perfect, there's some dresses that are just too fancy for wrinkle prevention, but for day to day use, it's awesome! Another amazing feature is the Remote Enable. I throw in my clothes, clean my filter, and turn on remote enable on the dryer before doing something else or heading out. I just start it from my phone at some point. I don't know what the exact cutoff time is, but the dryer will turn off at some point. However, every time I forget and feel like the machine should be off by then, it isn't! You can also pause or cancel the cycle on the app or give it some extra time if you want. The app isn't just to start the dryer either, it also controls the drum light, damp dry signal, sets favorite cycles, and even assign laundry tasks to family members! Can't wait to try that out when my girls have phones. Since it also sends notifications, I find myself actually getting more laundry done in one day. I no longer walk away and forget what time the dryer says, what time I put the laundry in, or that the laundry is even in. Overall, this is an exceptional dyer that's worth the money. You spend this money and buy something like this to make the hectic day-to-day easier and it does exactly what's advertised. Don't see myself going back to any other brand!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am pleased with my purchase and have had no issues with this dryer. Some reviewers have mentioned that their dryer is very noisy, but mine is not (see attached video for your own judgement). I have wool dryer balls that I use in my loads and they seem to make most of the noise that I hear. One extremely large load seemed to dry very slowly, so I simply split it into two smaller loads. I did not remember to test the "Extra Power" feature. After years of having manual controls, the computer controls were just different enough to take awhile to get used to. I kept setting my cycle then pushing the Power button, which shut it off (oops), but after the fourth try, I held down the Start button for three seconds and it ran correctly. The dryer remembering the setting I had just used and not "resetting" was very helpful for my silliness. I love using the Wrinkle Control feature, and the lint screen really is awesome. It is a much finer mesh that any I have seen before, and it catches more lint (and dog hair) than my previous Maytag dryer did. At the right price, this is a very good dryer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced a 15 year old Maytag dryer with this. New model which matches our newer Maytag washer we had purchased a couple years ago. Maytags are built much better than other brands I believe, this one has a heavy duty dryer door on it that pulls down , not a flimsy thin metal door like others. It’s just built very well! All the features are easy to use hopefully this unit will last 15 years like the last one, only time will tell!

I bought a new dryer because the old dryer didn’t work now I have a new dryer that doesn’t work I give this product zero stars if I could no quality control.

This is a piece of crap!!! Dont buy!!! The reviews were “good” and Maytag is rated among the best dryers but stay away! This thing was delivered two days ago. O waited over a week for “fast” delivery from Home Depot which in itself is a joke..it took over a week. This thing did not dry even the first liad of laundry… it started showing sn error code F2E2 which is a control board issue. The control panel had wayer leaking out if it? Where yhus water came from is beyond me. We unplugged it for a few minutes then when we plugged it back in it would not even turn on. Now we are waiting for the Home Depot to come and pick up this useless machine. That is going to take them another week!!! They refuse to issue a refund until five days after they pick it up! Meanwhile i have to order another dryer and wait for who knows how long to get it delivered!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had it a month now and am very impressed with its capacity, easy-to-use controls, simple setting and drying time. It drys so evenly with no damp waistbands, pockets or thick items. The only thing I would change is the slanted top; would prefer it flat to hold my dryer balls and fabric softener. Aside from that, I love it and would HIGHLY recommend it to everyone!

After unplugging and plugging it back in it worked. It is unacceptable to have this happen within the first few weeks of ownership!

Only reason for 4 stars is this replaced my old Maytag dryer that lasted only 6 years! Cant really afford or should have to replace that often. I buy the extended warranty which is 5 years and ours broke in the 6th.

The loads I have are huge and the drying modes do an amazing job thoroughly and quickly drying clothes. The fact it is so quiet is an extra bonus..I couldn’t be more happier with my purchase.

Now I can’t as everything slides off. Also it took a while to figure out the cycles. It’s a little complicated. Otherwise it’s nice & has lots of options

It does everything I need, nice and quiet. Love, love, love getting notified on my phone when it’s done!

Love the hamper door, as our litter box is nearby and the dogs use the mud room for emergencies. I wanted the Samsung set initially because of the washer. I did not like the dryer, so only got the washer. Then I found this dryer. With a little elevation, I think it matches pretty well. The controls are a bit of a challenge coming from a Samsung dryer—figuring out no air is just like a cool dry cycle. I love how the buttons sense your finger instead of pressing down. Had for several months now.
