[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only had this washer for a few weeks, but it has handled well everything we wash, including King sized comforters. But beware if you are shorter than about 5’8”! The drum is tall and deep!

This machine has made my life miserable! DO NOT BELIEVE anything you read about the performance of this washer. I have only owned this machine for only 8 days and it has failed to clean my clothes and the spin dry cycle is a joke. After 12 failed attempts to use different settings, NOTHING WORKS! My clothes are hardly clean and always wet at the end of every wash load! More, my time has been consumed in trying to get answers regarding the lack of performance of this machine. The retail stores will not answer the phones (none of them), Maytag is closed on the weekends, and online chats have wait time exceeding 35 - 80 minutes! Before making this purchase, I did all my homework, trusted the reviews (which I now question), and I am a previous Maytag owner. Yet, after 8 days of a MISERABLE EXPERIENCE, I sending this machine back on Monday!

the washer doesn't wash even a small load. It leaves detergent on the clothes and doesn't even get them all wet sometimes! Don't be a fool and buy this Maytag product. It doesn't wash large things as intended. It also broke down and it is hard to get Maytag out to repair.

It gets clothes cleaner than our last HE washing machine. Also, it holds a ton of clothes and I can wash our king size comforter in it!

I bought a Lemon and Maytag does not know how to fix the leaking and the fact that the washer can't balance so it can't finish cycles.

Deluvered & installed as arranged. Very spacious,allowing easy clothing agitation. Relatively quiet cycles. My suggestion would be an auto counter of number of wash cycles that would more easily remind a person to use an Affresh cleaning cycle.

Front bottom leaks where machine was not welded properly.

Now that I've completed several loads including bedding, jeans, towels, and just general laundry, I can definitely say I'm very pleased with the washer. It fits a fairly large load and everything has come out clean.

I bought this washer & matching dryer about 6 months ago and thought being made in America would impress me. I have done laundry over 50 years and never had a noiser washer in my life. Also, I have never had so much trouble leveling loads of clothes. The dryer also seems to have a mind of its own & dries when it feels the need. Good I bought the extended 5 year warranty as I'm going to need it.

Got lucky with this washer. No so lucky with DEFECTIVE DRYER that matches machine. Dryer drum is off balance and requires replacement to function. $1,500 down the drain for a defective machine. HD refuses to replace. Recommendation: don't buy a major appliance from HD. HD won't take the thing back after you sign for delivery. When you buy from another seller, be sure the seller is willing to credit or replace for at least a month after purchase so you have time to repair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You would to go far to beat American know how and it shows in my new Maytag washer I still can remember as a youngster the Maytag washer my mother used until it was completely worn out it only took about 20 years to give or take a few As they say you get what you pay for and it shows in Maytag quality

Occasionally it doesn’t do a good job of washing, so don’t overfill and I now use the extra water feature to try to help it clean the clothes. Just recently the agitator COMPLETELY ATE my sons twin flat bedsheet. Only a little corned was showing. We had to take it all apart and the bottom of the agitator had a bunch of broken plastic pieces ... it was still under warranty and the repairman was great and efficient.

I got this washer New Year's Eve Day and so far I love it. The capacity is great. Washed a king size comforter with room to spare. I can do a load of dark clothes that would have taken my old washer 2 loads to do, Love the features the bedding can be sanitized and steam cleaned and it lets you know when to wash the washer LOL. So far best washer I've owned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just replaced a 15-year-old Maytag washer and have never had issues until recently so I went back and I found another meeting and this is the updated version of the one I want I’m impressed with the teachers and the actual 10 year warranty on the motor and basket I wish everybody would think twice before making a purchase of a foreign washer or dryer refrigerator come back and help the American manufacture be as great as it was at one time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my new washer just over a month ago. We have 3 adults all essential workers and 2 toddlers. So there is plenty to wash! Two loads a day at least. I can do all our bedding, even my king size comforter and I don't need to go to the laundromat. The machine is quiet and efficient. I would highly recommend this washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to go with the matching dryer. This is an amazing washer. It washes 12-15 pairs of jeans..and clean! Follow the directions on how to use and no problem! I love this washer! I have 2!

Appliance arrived undamaged. But it did not matter what size load was placed inside the machine, it would wobble back and forth so much that it banged against the wall and the dryer. We tried rearranging the load, but it did not help. It keep spinning even if it was wobbling violently. Enough so that the banging around scared the kids. Sent item back.

This machine was obviously engineered well - it's quiet and very environmentally efficient. I'm sure it will last me forever but I despise it. I eat dinner in front of the television and I often drip grease on my shirts. This washing machine will NOT remove the stains. I know it is the washing machines fault because I had a top load whirlpool that always got rid of these stains. I use the same detergent and same oxyclean but I cannot get my shirts clean without spraying them first with Shout and even then it's a cr@p shoot. Why does this machine less clean clothes? I'm guess because it uses much less water (a commodity that is not scarce where I live) and has no agitator. Why am I complaining? Because this machine cost way more than the completion but doesn't deliver compared to yesterday's machine costing 1/4 of the price. I am not saving water or energy because if I missed the stains, I have to re-wash the clothes. Almost everything requires shout. Should I throw the shirts into the dryer by mistake...the stain become permanent and then I need to by a new shirt. I hate this machine. Lawyers - if you are setting up a class action lawsuit - contact me!
