It doesn't hold my dishes as good as the old washer and the silverware basket is a little smaller. Overall it's good. I would buy again

I purchased this product 2 years ago. Within a few days of the install (performed by HomeDepot) it started leaking. Upon inspection, the seal was installed backwards at the factory. It was repaired and worked for almost 2 years. The system suddenly would only run for a few minutes and never complete a cycle. I contacted MayTag, who sent out a repair technician, which took about 2 weeks to get to the house. After paying the $120 service fee, the diagnosis was the system needed a new circuit board and OWI (another ~$350) but it would take 6-9 weeks to get the parts in and schedule the fix. Complete BS - MayTag is certainly not what they used to be. I am replacing with a Samsung. Really disappointed in the service and the quality offered by MayTag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this dishwasher! It's solid, well built, and quiet. There's nothing flimsy about it, Maytag builds quality appliances. After owning this dishwasher for the past 6 months I've decided to replace my other appliances with Maytag products.

We use this dishwasher lightly, and never overload it with heavy items. Several days ago the slides that support the upper dish rack broke. Further examination shows that parts of the slide are poorly welded together, and rusted, resulting in failure. We use name brand dishwashing pods and our water is of reasonable quality, so I don't think either of those caused the problem. The slides are only under warranty for 1 year, so we are out a minimum of $100 for parts only. We will be looking at other brands when we have to replace this piece of junk, which undoubtedly will be sooner rather than later.

I have had to have this dishwasher services multiple times. The door pops open during cycles. It leaks and I can never get a full wash. Very disappoint i have to waste my time to get it serviced. I have only had it for 3 years...

This unit is barely 2 years old. Yea, one tough unit.

Cleans well, and runs quiet, but started having problems with the "start" button after about a year. Now, a year and a half after purchase, won't start at all. Trying to file a claim, since I bought the 5 yr extended warranty, and the online "file a claim" app is telling me I am putting in the wrong information, when I am LOOKING AT the receipt. Very frustrating.

I've had this dishwasher for a little less than 2 years. It started out quiet but now loudly vibrates during the cycle. If I give it a hip check it will be quiet for 5 minutes or so and then the noise returns.

Just confirmed a bad motor that will cost $413 to have replaced. So I will be replacing with something other than Maytag!

It does a great job getting the dishes clean and it's fairly quiet. It did have a weld failure on one side of the top rack, but a repairman took care of it right away with no charge.

I had the dishwasher for almost 2 years now. In the first year I had a technician to come in twice to fix the water leakage. now in the 2nd year without warranty coverage, the dishwasher is making so much noise we could hear it on the second floor.

Didn’t take me long to figure out the associates working there knew no more about appliances than hammers! Saw an advertisement about a local appliance store and thought I would check it out but knew it would be more expensive. Boy was I wrong. As soon as I walked in I fell in love with the Maytag series. All pieces matched and I was able to get the exact sizes that I needed. Dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator and upright freezer are so quiet you can’t hardly hear them running. And the gas stove, what can I say but that I love it. First time for Maytag appliances but do far love all of them.
