I purchased this product on June 14, 2018 - just over a year ago and the screws plates are already rusting. I plan to see if I can get a replacement safety bar but not this particular one

Rusted badly within 8 months.

Good quality grab bar. Nice improvement to my bath/shower. Size of width makes it easy to get a good grip.

This grab bar is plenty strong enough to support a 250 lb. person while stepping in or out of the tub, when it is screwed into wall studs. I had some oddly spaced studs in my bathroom wall that it fit onto. The knurled gripping surface makes it very unlikely that even a wet hand would slip along the bar. I don't mind the screw heads showing, so I didn't buy the more expensive model with covers for the mounting areas. One caveat, though. When the vendor printed a shipping label to send this to my local Home Depot store, they only put my name and the name of my city on the UPS label. It sat at the local UPS location for 9 days, until I called Home Depot customer support, and they determined what was wrong, then had it delivered to the store. At that time, UPS was about to return it to the sender as undeliverable. Kudos to Home Depot customer support, but the vendor should do some training in his shipping department.

I used it as a grab bar to make it easier to get in and out of a small teardrop trailer sleeping compartment. It does the job.

I returned both of these because we wanted grab bars with a sleeker appearance.

Bar is solid and nicely finished. Good for seniors.

The safety grab bar was well-made. Unfortunately they should’ve took a little bit more time on the finishing when they sprayed the chrome on it that’s why I gave her an average score. I would’ve returned it, but I needed it for the next day.

They work just like I hoped they would. they look great and are very functional

Excellent product fairly priced. An incidental note is that the grab bar does not have overlay caps which conceal the screws. However, this "omission" is basically one of esthetics and does not diminish its mechanical strenght nor its utility. It should also be noted that this product does have excellent knurling, which assists in a firm grip.

Don't use the supplied screws!! They rust almost immediately. Replace with stainless screws before mounting. A fairly knurled body, could be more grippable but better than nothing.

not as decorative as expected w/o covers over screws. will upgrade for covers with any additional purchases

The bars are attractive and just what I ordered. I had a handyman install them on tile.
