I simply love this tile! Had it installed on the floor of our bathroom and it looks clean and timeless. It definitely appears more on the matte side, not shiny at all. Quality and packaging is excellent, would recommend without hesitation!

Very happy with the look and the way this tile installed in our set bar! Just make sure you plan out how you want the tiles to start, if installing vertically. Love the matte subtly textured look, it is not a smooth tile.

The white is clearly gray. Not brilliant white so it was disappointing

I wanted something that would compliment my elongated shower tiles so I went with this. I called it dragon scale tile. So unique!

I used the tile for my kitchen black splash and I am in love. The color is fantastic with my pietra gray quartz and black hardware finishes. So happy with the quality and look.

This Merola Kite tile is so beautiful! It is extremely well made, excellent quality tile and is surprisingly easy to work with. The shape and size allows you to be creative and use it for so many different things. The finish is just gorgeous. It looks great with white grout but I am also going to try something with a darker charcoal colored grout. Stunning tile that will add to the atmosphere of any room. A definite upgrade. I love it and I highly recommend this tile!

I have this tile in 2 colors. Grey and black. I had to order a couple cases of the grey once I received the first case. This is a great color as it isn't too dark but gives a pop of color for being grey. These tiles are very durable as they are decently heavy. I don't have all of the tile in just yet so I can't comment on how easy these are to cut or if there's difficulty cutting them but I do have to say be careful if you try to pick up a case, its almost 50 pounds. I would recommend on appearance and utility purpose alone these tile since these are great for wall and floor.

This black tile is more of a matte black to me than having a medium sheen, That being said, if you want something that isn't completely flat black this is a great tile to go with color wise. I love that this can be used for either flooring or wall tile, I am going to be using this for my kitchen back splash. I didn't order enough cases to do the kitchen just yet so I cannot comment on how well these stay, but these are very durable, the thickness is great and I love the design as it isn't a typically seen design. The only reason this isn't getting 5 stars is because the tile has even scratched itself upon shipment so I can't say that this is super durable in the aspect of the color.

This is beautiful and well made tile by Merola. I really like the matte black medium sheen finish and plan to combine it with the Merola white subway tiles I received recently. The tile has very straight edges and can be installed with a minimal grout line, if desired. It's dimension is 4 inches x 11.75 inches and there is 11.81 sq.ft. per box. The back is designed to get maximum adhesion. This is a great product with a great look.

Uniquely shaped tile with an off black satin/matte finish. I really like the look of the tile and the unique shape allows for a few installation options. You can offset the rows of tiles like pictured, but I'm leaning towards interspersing a 2 inch mosaic tile in a diamond pattern. The mosaic tile looks great against the off black finish of this tile. The shape of the tile will set apart your floor from other floor tile. An added plus is the weight of these tiles. You can tell their made of quality materials from the very beginning.

The Merola Tile in Kite Black is beautiful. It is a shiny glazed black color. I like the modern style of the tile. We are using this as a back splash in our kitchen. Although, it can used as flooring, or in a shower. It can also be installed outside and it is frost resistant. You can also use different colors to make a pattern, which we are also going to do. The tiles are a good weight that makes it easy to place and install them.

I'm trialing 3 different shades of the "Kite" tile, white, dark grey and light grey. The 3 shades coordinate well together, but you can come up with some unique designs even just using one color. The white tile is very close to pure white and not super shiny. In many of the white tiles I received there would be 1 or 2 tiny grey spots, smaller than the head of a pin and hardly noticeable, but I don't like it. Not sure if the white tile is designed to be that way, but I can just see me scrubbing away at those spots thinking the wall or floor is dirty. Personal preference I guess. They otherwise are consistent in quality and none arrived damaged. Pics below show contrasts between the 3 colors I received. You can get artsy with your design or just keep things simple. I actually prefer white tile, just not with tiny specks.

I am trialing 3 different shades of the "Kite" tile. I've seen this referred to as picket style and it's been showing up in online magazines not just on floors but on kitchen and bath walls too. The tile was packaged appropriately and all shipments arrived intact with no broken tiles. Each tile is solidly made but light enough to easily manage. The finish is not super shiny, but almost matte. All of the dark and light grey tiles I received were consistent in quality and color of finish. Pics below attempt to show the contrasts between Dark and light grey and white tiles. You can get creative with how they're laid out, or you can just keep it simple and use all one color. I like 'em quite a lot.

This is very nice tile. The name may be "Kite" but I've seen it referred to as picket stye. I would normally think it would be best for flooring but I've been seeing pics lately of it being used for kitchen walls. Looks very nice and an alternative to subway. I'm trialing different shades of this tile. All boxes arrived intact, no tiles broken. All tiles consistent in quality and color. Individually substantial but light enough to manage easily. I like them a lot. Quite versatile too, (no pun intended.) I made a design in pic below, but instead of beads I would use stone or broken china.

It is not white at all. Not even close and unfortunately for me it’s installed. I’m trying to return about $1000. Worth of this ugliness

Not super consistent

This is not white. “White” tile is more almond with a purplish tint. Inaccurate description of product

Looks good, but it's in the guest bath, which hasn't been used yet. My only issue is that I ordered six boxes of white tile and got four boxes of white and two boxes of dark grey. It would have delayed the project to return it and wait for the correct order and the colors were suitable so we made the best of it.

This is really nice tile. It has a more natural surface than uniformly flat. Very good quality.

Tile is much darker than the picture . All tile was received intact and quality is very good

I liked the tile. However, it was too big for my area and I decided I wanted more of a shine. It was exactly as stated, it just didn’t work for me.

I personally am looking for a gloss white kite-which is difficult to find. I was hoping when referenced as a "Medium" sheen it would not be very similar to a field tile, or very matte-which is what this tile was. I would recommend it if you want a typical field tile look only.

Like the shape and size of this tile so much, but the white is not a true white. Too dark of a white to use in our kitchen. So bummed out by that!

Love the look of this tile. The tile is matte and very sophisticated looking. It's a great addition to our kitchen.

Gorgeous tile- very unique and perfect for the 100-year-old home we're restoring. Haven't installed yet, but are putting it on the kitchen floor with the black kite tile around the border. Can't wait! Wish it was a little less expensive, but I think the quality is good, and it arrived with no broken pieces.
