I love this tile so much that I used it again after we moved. This time I used a darker grout. Pretty both ways.

I BOUGHT THIS TILE FOR A BACKSPLASH IN MY KITCHEN. I HAVE AN 1880'S FARM HOME AND WANTED SOMETHING DIFFERENT - RUSTIC, VINTAGE, ELEGANT. HARD TO FIND. LOVED IT SO MUCH AS A BACKSPLASH THAT I TILED A WHOLE WALL, A CEILING IN A BAY WINDOW, FRONT OF HEARTH.

Lovey tile! Easy to work with and such rich colors. Still trying to decide on the correct grout, but it was either this or Tuscany ivory beveled subway tiles and these won out by far.

Beautiful tile with much relief and texture. Can be used in different applications. Wish they made it in white/lighter base color

Another quality tile by Merola. This Saja Nero tile has a beautiful glazed finish and is designed to look worn and scuffed giving it an old world appearance. The glaze is listed as a black glaze but this tile looks like a dark green in person, not black. Tile case cover approximately 12.2 square feet and each tile is 13 by 13 inches. Each case has 10 variations of the design. Will add instant design to any room you put it in. Great on floors, backsplash, bathroom or kitchen or backyard BBQ area. Very beautiful and well made tile of all natural ingredients to be environmentally friendly and healthy!

STUNNING old world look tile. I just love this Merola Tile Saja Blanco tile. It is so fabulous! It has that perfect old world, shabby chic look to it with a creamy white and antiqued finish. I could do my whole house in this tile! But it will have to do that it is a back splash in my tiny kitchen! Now that I am on work from home COVID-19 I am prepping my walls for some awesome tile install. Ceramic 13 by 13 inch tile can be used for a backsplash, floors, a patio if protected from extreme cold. Has 7 design variations to allow for mixing and no worry of pattern repeat. Each case is 12.2 square feet. Even better is it is a green style tile made of all natural ingredients and free from VOCs! Formaldehyde and PVSc!

We needed a new tile for a small patio in our backyard and we're looking for a nice design to match our patio furniture. This tile has a very textured feeling to it and is not smooth. The feel made it difficult to do the small area with but would make a great accent tile on a larger field. The faded yellow is warm and neutral color matching nicely with beige and gray color scheme. For now we are using it for a replacement table top until we redo the rest of the kitchen floor.

I have always loved the look of tin tile for its patterning but not necessarily the metal composition. I fell in love with this ceramic tile and am using for the only wall in our galley style kitchen. The wall will have a stove, refrigerator, & small counter section in between. I loved the Blanco color online and even more so in person. It has so many different shades and blends of the colors in it, while still being very neutral for decorating options and countertop material and color choices. It is very embossed giving it lots of texture but I think it will still be easy to keep clean using on this wall. The tiles are quite large which I liked for the sake of less individual pieces in need of grouting in place. Install was pretty normal for tile & grout. We had ours shipped and luckily no broken tiles.

These tiles are very big. In my opinion this is good for floors or when you want a 13 in. backslpash without having to cut tiles. The other feature that makes these very nice for a floor is the texture they have. This makes the floor easier to walk on with less slipping. I am using these for a laundry room floor where I need some texture to help with slippage from possible water on the floor. These tiles can be glued and grouted the same as any other tile. Also the design is very nice.

Beautifully crafted tiles! These tiles are full of old world charm with their very attractive pattern and finish. We used them for an accent wall in our guest room with a chair rail above and below two rows of tile. The pattern of the tiles matches the wallpaper we have in that same room, so we were very pleased with the results. This is a quality product that I would definitely recommend .

MEROLA TILE SAJA NERO 13 IN. X 13 IN. CERAMIC FLOOR AND WALL TILE (12.2 SQ. FT. / CASE), NERO / MIXED FINISH is named for the Saja River in Spain and are designed by interior architect and furniture designer Francisco Segarra. They are very detailed and would suit industrial or Mediterranean design, among others. With their black glaze, they resemble the tin ceilings in old buildings in New Orleans. They are for inside use. The matte tiles have dimension and because of that, tiles could wear irregularly on a high-traffic floor due to the variation in height. They have a very romantic vibe.

Classic European look in an affordable tile that can be used for flooring or walls with a lot of decorative variety. These tiles are listed as having a black glaze, but with the weathering and aging look, it turns out as a dusky green, kind of like the oxidized metal plates that the tiles were inspired by. The glaze also has "worn" elements added, so in spots there are brown patches as if the glaze has worn off and you can see the tile underneath. It's really a fantastic look that can enhance industrial decor, be installed in a classic house, or give that punched-tin look to a wall. The wall use is exactly what we wanted. We saw a European movie recently where a stairway had tiles that looked a lot like these running up the wall, and we loved it. Merola's Saja Nero is the perfect fit. We're installing these on a transitional pony wall that begins where the living room and kitchen merge in our open-flow layout. The counter wraps there, so this will be on the first portion of the wall before it bends to flow into the kitchen. The color is neutral enough to go with any scheme, so the fact that we change up the wall colors so often is not going to be a problem. I've set up layouts to show how it will look at that transition wall, and I've added one shot butting the tiles against the transition between the wood floor and the kitchen floor for those who want to use this as flooring. Really pleased with this tile. Can't wait to get it up!

Remodeled my bathroom floor

This tile is even lovelier than the pictures! I installed it as a kitchen backsplash and it adhered so well and I am so happy with the results! I ordered two boxes - it was very well packed, so no broken tiles.

This tile was everything and more of what we expected. Simply amazing. Merola packages the tile well. Will order more since this one project exceeded expectations. And the design...top notch!

We recently remodeled our kitchen. We added these tiles for a small accent wall (two wide, floor to ceiling) with floating shelves. I love the look, and we get tons of compliments on this little nook of the kitchen. There’s a hint of green and terracotta color—which makes me love them even more. Our tile guy had no issues working with this tile. There was literally zero waste. And even with shipping to our home, no tiles were damaged.

Absolutely perfect. This tile is what i chose as the floor tiles for in front of fireplace. I am in the process of building a new house and the contractors have been talking about how everything is coming out so nice. This is the best picture i have at the moment.

I ordered the grey and cream tile for my kitchen floor in this same design, both are gorgeous and it was a hard decision to make between the two. But I decided to go with the cream tile instead which went better with my kitchen cabinets and adjacent wood floor. The tile has the look of old world vintage and look exactly as I expected, I loved them from the moment I opened the box. You won't be disappointed if you choose this design!

Gorgeous tile and easy to install.

This tile is gorgeous! It is very unique yet practical. It can be used for either floors or walls. It also comes in Nero (black). My shower is mainly done in the Blanco with the Nero as an accent. It has a wonderful old world feel and I just love it.
