Packaging was not the greatest but all tiles were ok.

Easy to lay. Solid tile. Slightly off white in color when compared with white trim, but not enough to be an eye sore. I’d recommend to anything!

Looks great in bathroom on floor

The Merola Tile Apini Hex Matte White, Porcelain Floor and Wall Tile left me disappointed. While the tile does state that it is a matte finish, i expected there to be the feeling of a finished surface. The tile leaves a chalk-like residue when handling each piece. The surface of the tile tops are porous and are rough to the touch. While the tile says that it's water resistant I would worry about stain or discoloration of the tile if water sat too long. Instead, I plan to use my tile to make outdoor stepping stones. I'll be adding a layer or two of clear coat to seal each one. The tile does make for a great craft tile, though.

I was looking for a hexagon tile to finish our basement bathroom floor project and I kept running into dead ends on color selection. We were looking for more of a dark floor to compliment the design of the space. We came across the Merola Tile in a hex shape in Matte Black and the rest is history. We used a matching matte black grout (so we didn’t have to clean it honestly) and I think it turned out great. A word of caution to installing this yourself, make sure to have your tile saw close by because with Hex patterns, and smaller tiles, you have more cuts to make. I left my saw in the driveway and after seemingly tens of hundreds of trips up and down stairs to make cuts I quickly learned my lesson. Another tip, spacers are a must and a small level. You want to constantly check level and square so your pattern follows your line. You definitely want to put a chalk line down and work off of that line.

I installed the Merola Tile Apini Hex Matte Black Porcelain Tile on a Table top along with the White Merola Tile to create a two color top. The Matte finish is perfect for when you do not want a shiny finish. The installation was not to difficult but there was a lot of cutting. I have a power tile saw which really helped or you could rent one. It amounted to cutting the pieces to fit, gluing them down and grouting all the joints. I used a piece of fancy door casing for a perimeter. The finished look is pretty nice.

I used the Merola Tile Apini Hex Matte White Porcelain Tile for a Tiled top on a coffee table. I also used the Merola Tile Alpini Hex Matte Black for a two color design on the table top. It was not too difficult to accomplish, I do have a power Tile Saw which helps when so many cuts are necessary. I cut and laid out all the pieces and then glued the tiles in place. I used a piece of fancy door trim as a frame around the Tile and then grouted the tile in a dove grey grout. The Matte finish on the Tile made it perfect for a Table top, A nice satin look with no reflection. I then covered the top with a clear coat to help protect the finish. I really like the results.

Extremely nice matte white finish on a large hexagon tile. This would be a perfect tile for any location where you wouldn't want to slip when wet. Add a sanded grout and you have a perfect solid AND slip resistance surface. For my purposes this will go into an outdoor pre-shower area before people jump in the pool. Tiles are of a solid construction and are stamped with "made in Turkey". Color was very consistent between the batches as we. Would recommend!

These hexagonal tiles are nice and big with a matte finish glaze that will be perfect bathroom floor tile. Each tile is perfect flat and has a nice pattern on the back to adhere to. For my installation I first laid a nice 1/8" trowel of mastic on the floor. Then I buttered the back of each tile before I placed into the mastic. Because I was using a sanded grout, I left a fairly large space. Really love the ease of installation and quality of the tiles.

Easy to install and they look beautiful. We just LOVE how it turned out . They were easy to cut with a dry tile cutter and we used a dark grey grout.

I purchased this tile thinking it was white. I was WRONG! It looks grey next to my white vanity top. If you are looking for a white tile look somewhere else. Quality seems fine but HIGHLY disappointed in color

Cool looking product.

This is great tile. Very hardy unlike some other tiles I have bought. Looks great installed. I was worried it might be too big, but once it was installed on the bathroom floor it looked just fine.

Complete waste of $! The measurements were off so we couldn’t use it. It is too late to return it.

Beware: this tile is a warm white that is more of a vintage ivory cream color. The images on the website do not show this distinction. It does not work with our white carrara marble mosaic tile which are cool white with grey inclusions. Sadly, we have to return all these hexagon tiles.

Installed over a heated floor in my bathroom and just looks fantastic.

The hexagon tile has been a fav and we finally found this one and used it for the bathroom floors. It has a satin finish and is relatively safe as far as slippery gets. It does use a bit more skill or levelers to flatten as it has multiple corners, but the end result is gorgeous as you can see. We used a Charcoal grout to make the tile pop since its geometric shape creates a pattern worth noting.

Ordered online everything arrived in good condition. Tile is flat black as expected.

The tile quality was fine and it cut well enough but the finish was a joke. The matte feature scuffs far too easily. Straight out of the box I had 50% or more of the tiles showing some scuff marks. These were either not easily removed or not removable at all in some cases. Even after using specialty cleaner some scuffs just wouldn't budge. Grouting them was an equal challenge. It was very hard to get a smooth application of grout with the matte finish. It just wouldn't wipe clean like other tile jobs I've done. I would not recommend working with a matte tile in the future.

The tile look great.

These look great on our bathroom floor. There was 1 tile that came in a slightly different size than the rest of the tiles, which was weird and a little annoying. But our contractor made it work and it looks great!
