We always recommend ordering 10% more than your calculated amount to assure that you order enough tile to account for cutting, future repairs and dye lot and caliber consistency. We apologize for the issues you experienced with your order. The shiny spots that you are referring to may have been caused by the wax that is applied to the tile. This wax is applied to the tiles to prevent the tiles from rubbing together; once the wax is peeled off, it can leave a glossy residue on the tile.

The master case for this product contains 35 tiles; if this is ordered in multiples of 5, you will receive one master case. We’re sorry to hear that our Hexatile Matte Nero didn’t meet your expectations. This white substance is Talc, and it was placed onto the surface of the tile to prevent damages during transit. If this is not placed on the tile prior to transit from the factory, the tiles can rub together. If the tiles are consistently rubbing against each other, they have a higher chance to become damaged during transit. Thanks for your feedback.

If these are not placed on the tile prior to transit from the factory, the tiles can rub together. Thank you for the feedback on our Hexatile Matte Nero. The swirls that you’re seeing on the tiles isn’t film, it’s wax. When products are shipped from the factory, they attach wax swirls to protect the tiles from rubbing against each other. If wax is not applied to the tiles, the tiles can become damaged by rubbing against each other. The wax comes off fairly easy once some pressure is applied to it. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you.
