Easy tile to work with, very heavy and has a nice sheen to it. It was perfect to use, it's great for both floors and walls. The design is really neat and unique. And it was easy product to work with for the special cuts around the floor. I've used several tile products in the past and this one is no exception, it has a good thickness to it and is very versatile. Overall a great product with no issues.

WOW I have never seen any floor tile made of such great quality, Merola Spanish Retro Blanco will last a lifetime, the last flooring you will ever need. A little shy of 13 inches x 13 inches but the real kicker is the thickness, about the height of a penny, I would say measures at three quarters thick. Description reads can also be used on walls which is difficult to believe due to the size and thickness but Im not a tile installer expert. The back side has a pattern of lines etched out length of the tile which will help the tile adhesive grip the tile securely. The tile is thick enough that the manufacturer has actually engraved style, I believe to be a serial number and made in Spain in large legible numbers and letters. Whether you decide to use as wall or floor tile the area will be stunning! The Spanish Retro Style consists of a variation shades of greens with a subtle sheen. Ceramic tile surface is not soft, smooth or slippery to the touch, a little rough to prevent slipping or sliding if wet or wearing only socks. Each thick ceramic tile appears to be sectioned off into 4 six and a quarter inch squares with the subtle lines. The style and design is absolutely perfect from appearance, make, style to durability, impressive!

received this tile in a short time. The box was damaged but the tile was in good condition. I haven't had a chance to install this tile because I was involved in a car accident and spent two days in the hospital. I am still recovering. I will, however, let you know when I install the tile. The Merola Klinker Retro Blanco Encaustic tile is by far the strongest and thickest premium tile I have ever installed. It has beautiful neutral colors and consistent medium sheen finish. The tile is square and consistent in size and super thick! The downside to thicker / heavier tile is physical ability to lay it down consistently into the thinset. While more expensive than average tile, it is one the nicest looking and highest quality available for DIYer. I highly recommend !

This is a sturdy tile with a color that is very nice and neutral. It is perfect for so many locations, from entry to family room to kitchen or bath. If you like a neutral palette, this tile is for you. And it is easy to install too, the overall dimensions are a little over 12 inches square, so installation is also going very fast. Additionally, this tile does not show dirt very much, so it is handy in the cleaning department also. I am very happy with this selection.

Merola Tile Klinker Retro Blanco Encaustic 12-3/4 in. x 12-3/4 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Quarry Tile, Blanco / Medium Sheen This tile will be perfect for our kitchen floor. It has a great old-world worn look to it while maintaining a neutral color pallet. The tile is extremely durable and can be used both inside and outdoors. It is also water resistant and can stand up to heavy duty wear and tear. Great for an active family! We plan on pairing this monotone tile with a smaller, more colorful tile from Merola to be used as a border.

The tile was beautiful but the image was printed on. It would be good for many projects but I returned mine because I wanted more of a handmade look. Home Depot was wonderful to deal with through every aspect of the purchase and returning was a breeze. Thank-you Home Depot!

Pattern did not match up properly and the details of the image are blurred making it very obvious it is not a true klinker (clinker) or quarry tile. The only reason I didn't give it just one star is because our customer still liked the finished project.

Used this as a backsplash for my beach condo. Very thick to install but colors are great.

Beautiful tile!

The tiles are beautiful. One was broken and could not be used. We needed one tile from the third box but the rest of that box is unused and needs to be returned. I assume that I do that through the Home Depot store.

The tile was exactly what I wanted and colors were true to the photograph. However, the sample, in spite of being well-packaged, had a chipped piece in the corner, which was not visible until I took the protective corners off. It makes me wonder how well a box of 7 would survive shipping, if a single sample arrives damaged.
