The Metalux 2 ft by 2 ft Troffer is a solid product. The frame itself feels strong and rigid. Installation is pretty simple but if you need the EQ clips which is not included in the package but is listed in the instructions as kit number CZ2-EQClip-U-PK. The light puts off a bright white light, with very little coloring in either direction (blue or yellow). The bulb is an LED strip, which does look like it could be replaced fairly easily if necessary.

The Metalux 2x2 LED is a VERY GOOD PRODUCT. It fits easily into existing ceiling grids where 2x2 tiles are used. Only challenge for non-handyman person will be wiring into existing power supply … but even here the Metalux uses 'quick connect' pig-tails (see pictures) to make wiring very easy. You can install in a damp location if necessary and the LEDs are not sensitive to cold temperatures. The unit carries a 5-year warranty and uses less electricity than standard light fixture. The unit features a single, centered 'lens' and is very bright. The exposed metal surface is a flat/matte white color and is attractive to view (modern looking). The instructions are very clear and all wiring in self-contained in the units junction box which features 'knock-outs' for wire nuts or metal cable) (see pictures.)

The Metalux 2 ft. x 2 ft. 51-Watt Equivalent Integrated LED White Center Lens Troffer, 4000K Bright White light installed quite easily. The LED light is perfect for the brightness I need. Being LED the light takes very little power and has no ballast to worry about. The light is uniform and lights up the room very well. I am very satisfied that I got this LED light.

This is a very nice, clean LED replacement for a standard 2X2 troffer. The fixture fits in a drop ceiling application. The fixture does not come with a whip, but you can wire direct if needed. We have not yet been able to install this fixture but hope to do so very soon. We have installed others and they are very bright and provide more light than a standard florescent fixture.

This is an excellent 2X2 recessed troffer light for any application. The construction is solid and it produces an abundance of high quality light for it's size. The pros that set this light apart from florescent lights are #1. The 4000K color temperature rating gives you very white light, very similar to daylight (see photos). 2. The CRI (color rendering index) scale of 80 is very near sunlight scale of 100. This gives the eye a better ability to distinguish similar colors and shades of colors. Exceptional quality in a light in this price range. 3. It produces 3300 lumens of quality light while only consuming about 30 watts making it an excellent value to operate. 4. It is dimmable (see instructions) and it will operate on 120 - 270 voltage (see instructions). 5. It comes with a 5 year limited warranty. I have provided photos with the access panel removed and the frosted lens removed, I have also provided photos taken in my boat storage building on a dark night using these lights to give the decision maker an idea of the light quality.

Replaced a 2 x 2 florescent fixture similar to pic below. These LED fixtures really put out a lot more light. The lighter weight and size make them much easier to install. It's made to sit in a suspended ceiling grid but I drilled four holes and attached it directly to the joists ( yes the ceiling is on my honeydo list ) but now I'll have plenty of light to work with.

This is a really nice light fixture for the price. I built a salon for my wife on our lower level and needed a good light source for her to do her work. I have a drop ceiling with 2’ x 2’ acoustic ceiling tiles. The fit is perfect. There is no delay in turning on or off. The installation was very easy using only a screwdriver and wire cutters. The fixture comes with everything needed except a 3/8” twin screw cable clamp and a few wire nuts. The wired connection is a quick disconnect for easy installation. I had a switched power line already in the location of the light. Installation took me less than 15 minutes. I like the amount of light and the fact that it is LED using much less energy than incandescent or fluorescent fixtures. This is better than my wife expected. Very nice product.

White Integrated LED Architectural Troffer, 4200 Lumen 4000K CCT Cool White I wanted to try the LED troffer (a rectangular light fixture that fits into a modular dropped ceiling grid) has a housing optimized for shallow plenums.
