I bought the 1311 Joint Pro Doweling Jig only a short time... but once I started to use it I found it simple & it made my work go much faster. It did everything I needed... I also bought the Milescraft Kit as well... in it were drill bits & another Jig which helped also... I am sold 100% on these great tools... Thanks Milescraft & Home Depot for carrying these tools...

Makes joining 2x lumber a whole lot easier

The tool was not as easy to use as I saw on a video so I returned it.

Overall concept is good and dowel holes are precisely aligned. Drill bit bushings are nice and snug and do not allow drill bit wobble which is a problem on cheaper jigs. An extra spacer/clamp would be nice to keep both ends of the boards stationary while moving the drill jig to different positions

Delivered with missing pad on bottm of clamp did ot otice it and marred a beautiful piece of cherry. Fixable but unnecessary, also cut threads on the four clamps are rough and abrasive causing drag when clamping. Two minner issues are a distraction from an otherwise well thought doweling jig. Overal this unit rates a numerical value of a nine out ten.

Dead accurate - far superior to any dowel jig where you drill one board at a time. Fast and easy to use. Highly recommended!

I'd been trying to make a jig myself, Just didn't work. Found this one and ordered it right away. Good Quality and does a great job. Glad i got this one...

I am sure it works well for edge joining, what I needed was a jig that helped align doweling holes for an aquarium table. Trying to align dowel holes on table legs. Using one of the sections to drill all four legs did not align correctly with the opposing legs and the apron & stabling pieces. ideas?

Easy to use. Registers joining pieces easily and well.

I have little woodworking experience, but used this to build some built in shelving including face frames for our basement. It is simple enough to use for a novice and gives accurate dowel holes. One improvement I would recommend is stamping the hole size on the block next to each row. It would save some set up time. It is certainly worth the money and helped me get the job done.

The Milescraft JointPro Doweling jig is such a great tool if you are looking for something that will make drilling dowel holes easy! It's incredibly easy to alter the setup of the jig to accommodate what you are building, just a matter of unscrewing and tightening a couple screws. I had no problems drilling my holes, and by following the instructions in their video, I was able to easily set it up and the holes matched up perfectly! Would definitely recommend this product!

Pretty well built jig. Looks as if it will take some abuse.

I have made a 7'x36" work bench top our of joined 2X12's and a farmhouse dining room table top. Both projects joined dowels and using this jig. It's easy to use and accurate.

I recently purchased this Doweling jig and used on a table I'm making. It worked great!
