I had to cut holes through very thin sheet metal in order to gain access to outlets that were behind cubicle walls, and this hole saw made very clean cuts through 1/8” sheet metal

awesome hole saw!
it cut through a 55 gallon drum steel that is, like a hot knife through butter. the slugs never went up into the hole saw they just fell into the barrel I never had to do a clean out with a screwdriver I'll be at the steel drums not thick but it definitely made light work I drilled seven holes took me four minutes highly recommend this saw.

great holesaw
I just bought and used this holesaw today for a small project and I needed to cut through plastic. This saw worked really well. I was able to clean out the cut material very easily by using the slot on the side. It bit into the material well when starting my cut and made it easy to keep my drill straight. The saw never lost its place on the plastic and cut through with ease. The hex shank on this will not fit a 1/4” impact driver just to let you know ahead of time. You will need a decent size chuck on a drill. There wasn’t anything to dislike about it, but to be fair I didn’t cut multple holes in hard metal yet. This hole saw does meet my expectations. Please hit thumbs up if this was helpful.

Good saw
This 3” hole saw cuts very nice. The teeth are sharp and it’s also easy to remove material after the cut using the slot in the side. The hex shank will not fit in a 1/4” impact driver so you will need to use it in your drill or something similar to fit the bigger size shank. The bit provided in the saw is 1/4” which helps keep the saw from getting off track while cutting. I dont have any dislikes about the product but I’ve only used it once so far over the past week. It has met my expectations. Please hit the thumb up on this review if this was helpful!

This was bought for a pine planter box project. The first hole saw bought was a bausch, it snapped on the first hole and jammed a piece of metal into the drill. Home depot would not replace it since it was defective. We still needed one to finish the project so we bought another (Milwaukee) and it made it through all 52 holes like it was butter. Price was right also. Attaches easy to drill.

When drilling a hole for new temperature controlled alarm in a 185,000 dollar freezer you want a well designed tool to get the job done and not to destroy what it is you are working on. To run the conduit and add the 2 gang boxes I needed a 1" hole in either side of the freezer. The hole dozer was the perfect tool for the job, it did not mangle the metal in any way and the cut was perfect.

well built hole saw made for knocking out holes fast
I have several hole saws of different designs and I have to say this is one of the better ones if what you need is something solid built that will knock holes out of 2x4's at a good pace. The base where the arbor screws in is different from some in that it has a thick heavy metal plate that is threaded. The advantage of this is that you do not need a nut on the back side of the saw. This of course means after drilling out a hole you can very quickly disengage the bit and arbor from the saw just by reversing your drill. Once this is done you have free access for removing the plug. As a result I found this to be one of the easiest ones I have seen to remove the plug from. This is especially good when you are cutting thicker materials like studs. It's a good, solid, simple design. There is a lot to be said for making a tool simple to use and solidly built. This design also allows for quick change of the saw if you have different size holes to drill. If I was going to be knocking out a number of holes on a large job I would think the way this was made would make it a goto choice. Milwaukee has done it right on this saw.

Firm and aggressive
This hole saw sailed through wood and cuts a neat 3” hole without any issues. The teeth are very aggressive in that they bite into the material well.
The arbor simply screws into a threaded hole in the middle of the saw. I suggest not overloading torque on the saw if it ever becomes stuck as you don’t want to strip the threads. Arbor has a hexagonal shank.
The side have well shaped holes that allow easy removal of the circle of material that has been cut out.
There is a lifetime warranty against tooth breakage!
I had to drill about 40 holes in 3/4 inch drywall to install blow-in insulation. This bit worked fine for the first 10-15 holes , but after that, it was getting harder to drill and by hole number 20, it was binding and the drill was straining and on the last couple it just tore jagged holes. I finally realized the bit wasn't cutting anymore, which I couldn't believe given the price and the brand reputation. This bit is supposed to be able to drill metal and wood, but it wore out on drywall! Taking it back for a refund today.

Does the job!
The 3 inch Hole Dozer saw with arbor by Milwaukee came in very handy when I wanted to make my chicken feeder. I needed to put three holes in a homer bucket and this hole was just what I needed. It was sharp enough that it didn't bind when cutting through the side of the curved side of the bucket. Once you have the arbor all you need to buy for other sizes is the diameter blades that you need. Besides being a Milwaukee product, This hole saw is made in America. I would recommend this product.
Milwaukee never fails to build great tools and this Hole Saw is no exception. With a 2 1/2” diameter, it's big and fairly heavy – and it creates a lot of drag when cutting into wood. My 12V Lithium drill wouldn't drive it, but my 18V drill had no problem cutting through 3/4” hardwood plywood and pine with ease. The hex shank is 3/8” and will not fit a standard 1/4” drive, so you need either a larger driver or a standard drill chuck that opens at least that large. Given the large diameter of the saw, a beefy arbor is required. The one surprise I had was the saw itself unscrewing from the arbor when the drill stopped. There is no locking mechanism holding the saw to the arbor. It just screws into place with a standard thread, so it self-tightens from the drag when biting into the wood it's cutting. If you engage, then stop the drill without that drag on the saw, the momentum of the saw together with the sudden braking of the drill causes the saw to unscrew. It's doesn't impact the function of the saw at all, but it's something to be aware of from a safety aspect. The saw is deep – about 1 3/4” - and includes generous cut-outs for removing the plug from the saw after the cut. Milwaukee refers to it as “Plug Jack”, and it's the best I've used (see photo). I was even able to remove the 3/4” plugs with my fingers. The mandrel's drill bit is replaceable and adjustable via a set screw, a great feature not found on some other hole saws.
The ONE downside to this item is the packaging; it isn't just the tool that's made with specially hardened material. Cutting through that hard plastic to access the tool, even WITH metal snips, can easily result in cuts on fingers and hands. After accessing it, the tool is excellent in every way and a pleasure to use.
I WANTED TO INSTALL A FEW SOAP DISPENSERS IN MY STAINLESS STEEL KITCHEN SINK. PROBLEM WAS I HAD NO HOLES. I PURCHASED THIS HOLE SAW AND IT WORKED GREAT. I FOLLOWED THE RECOMMENDED RPM'S PROVIDED AND USED LOTS OF 3-IN-1 OIL TO LUB THE METAL. BOTH HOLES WERE DONE IN LESS THAN 2 MINUTES
