I bought this hoping it would core holes in 3/4" wood 1/2 way from each side. The store I was at didn't have any other offerings in this size. This didn't work more than 1 hole. Get a normal Lenox instead if you need to drill wood.

Home Depot should stock the replacement pilot bits for these in the stores. If and when they break it’s useless.

This is an excellent drill. I needed to drill a hole in a stainless steel sink to install an air gap. Took less than 1 min. Very clean cut. Superior to step drills for this application.

Cut Through Stainless Steel In No Time!
Needed to install a new faucet assembly. Watched horror stories on YouTube about people having problems cutting through stainless steel. This bit did the job with perfection! Literally took less then 10 seconds.
