BEST TOOL PURCHASE
Ok. I sold my home and workshop and downsized to a Condo. Brought 3 bags of tools with me. After 2 years of constantly looking on the wrong bag for the tool I want, I decided to purchase this. I got the ROLLING TOOL BOX, the LOW PROFILE PARTS ORGANIZER and the TOOL TOTE. Unquestionably the Best Tool Purchase in years. All my stuff in one place. High quality, Heavy Duty, Easy on and off. Just plain super. Highly recommended.

Bought three units to say $50, thought it was expensive at first, but the utility of this system is second to none.

Switched to Milwaukee Packout from DeWalt system after 4-5 year. These are much more versatile, stack better, and offer more storage options & accessories.

Milwaukee Packout to Replace DeWalt ToughSystem
I got the Milwaukee Packout system to replace my DeWalt ToughSystem. My son purchased these a while back, and I really liked the quality/materials/construction, and the way these stack. I've had the DeWalt system for 4-years, and do not like the way they stacked/locked together with small latches on the sides. Several of the plastic parts broke off when putting it in and out of my truck or toy hauler, and two of the latch attachment points broke off. Looks funny loaded with DeWalt tools! ;)

        Broke Handle
The handle broke after the 90 day home Depots return policy. Contacted Milwaukee with no response. Disappointed but we really love the packout system.

            PACKOUT STACKOUT
I absolutely live the Milwaukee brand, i first picked up a deep organizer for screws becuase in low boktage tou need a variety of things. I ended up getting the oackiut backpack as well a few months after and now to complete my roller stack (for now) i just got the roller this is going to make jobs easier with being avoe to bring all my tools and material togther in one trip to the site. Sometimes sites can be like a few hundred feet from parking so this just makes it a whole lot easier. At first glance i noticed its got the next generation wheels which i like i didnt think i would recieve the newest gen but i did. Sturdy plastic and plenty of space this packout roller will help on any jobsite

Great box. Expensive for what it is, but it is very functional and very sturdy. Holds a ton of stuff, just wish there were more options to organize the inside more efficiently so you aren’t digging through a “bucket” of tools.

              Great Mobile Tool Storage System
Great tool storage system. I watched a contractor use the system for a couple weeks on a compressor install. I was really impressed with the versatility and durability of the boxes. I already have quite a few Milwaukee tools so buying this set made a lot of sense. I have friends that use the black and yellow, so I did check out their storage system, however, it was an easy choice to go with the Milwaukee system. I really like the locking design and the ability to use the same system in my shop as well. I am looking to purchase the two drawer unit next.

              Stored Tools
Great system to organize your tools in small spaces. Although this box didn't fit in the back of my truck because the handle is too long.

              Broken handle
Bought this unit online and after having for a couple of weeks I took it down stairs to my basement. I noticed that something wasn't right with it. When I got to the bottom of the stairs I found that the handle was ready to snap off. Could have been an ugly scene. I don't understand how Milwaukee could send something out like that.

Works great for hauling my 12v fuel tools and tool pouch. The only thing is within a week the hinge tabs that hold the lid up snapped off just by closing the lid normally, but what ever now that I have it can’t go without it.

                Wheel Breakage Problem
Got the Rolling Tool Box as an X-mass present. This is a really nice unit and I like the Packout concept. However I have read several reviews where the inner wheel hub is breaking. Decided to remove a wheel to check out the design. The inner wheel hub is plastic and only about 1/8” thick around the bearing. This appears to be where the hub breakage is occurring. Decided to add a support block to the plastic hub. Used baltic birch plywood (1/2” thick x 3” diameter). The hub diameter is slightly over 1.5”. Used 1.5” fostner bit to drill the hole and drum sander to open the hole slightly for a snug fit on the hub. Used JB Weld around the hub and pressed support block on hub (see photo). Did this to both wheels. The question is, why should the customer have to fix a poor wheel design by Milwaukee???

                  Bad gasket
I have 2 of the rolling pack out boxes and of course the one with all my battery tools had a bad gasket and leaked water. Be careful if you leave this in the back of your truck or on an open trailer.

I was really hesitant to get pack out, but once I got them it’s amazing and I wish I would’ve bought him a couple years ago!!!! I really like how you can customize them yourself with just a 3-D printer and make the set I needed for work.

                      Perfect For What I Do!
I received a milwakee packout as a christmas gift, along with some compatible storage containers that stack and i am in love! I have been slowly accumulating milwakee tools and gear but have struggled to find an efficient and safe way to store my tools. I do home improvement diy wood projects often with my brother so im never traveling very far with my tools. This packout is exactly what i needed. I love milwakee and cant wait to keep adding to my collection as I take on more projects

Possible fix for wheels which break, great storage system!
I recently purchased the Milwaukee Packout Rolling Tool Box. So far so good, no issues or complaints. I like the build quality and the fact that the design was very well thought out, I can store a LOT of tools safely and securely, but most importantly in a very neat and organized way. I have added packout boxes to extend the collection. The one big problem I did notice before I bought the box that a lot of buyers have complained that the wheels are the Achilles Heel of the system and can break and fail on the inner wheel hub. The issue seems to stem from the fact that the portion of the inner hub which has a tendency to break has no reinforcement to hold it rigid, there are no wheel spokes or ribs on the inner hub, and hence it is the weakest spot on the wheel. After looking at pictures of the wheels which have broken for other buyers I decided to make a modification to try to strengthen the wheel hub at its weak point. I bought 2 hose clamps, the bands on these hose clamps are 1/2 an inch wide and the inner hub is only 1/4 inch wide so it is too narrow to fit the hose clamp (by the way, the diameter of the wheel hub is 1 1/2 inches). I fixed this issue of the inner wheel hub being too narrow for the 1/2 inch wide hose clamp band by cutting the plastic ribbing on each inner wheel hub back a 1/4 inch on the inner wheel hub with a utility knife and smoothing it out flush with the rest of the inner wheel hub, which gives you a flush flat surface on the inner wheel hub which now is 1/2 an inch wide, which is wide enough to fit the hose clamp on it. You then get two 1/2 inch washers and put one on each side of the axle of the tool box, this washer is to provide enough room that the screw portion of the hose clamp (which protrudes slightly wider than the band of the hose clamp) does not hit or rub on the side of the toolbox as the wheel turns. Tighten the hose clamps as tight as they will go on the inner wheel hubs, make sure you haven't forgotten to add the 1/2 inch washer to each wheel and then reassemble the wheels to the axle using the lock nut that came stock from the factory. It's takes maybe 30 minutes to do all this work but this hose clamp should provide the strength and rigidity that the stock wheel does not have on the inner wheel hub. Hope the pictures help explain what I did. Good luck!

Great deal for my new Packout rolling box. It’s very sturdy. Has a bit of plasticky smell inside. I like that it’s made in Israel. The lid snaps at the top of its swing so it stays open when you want. The box arrived the next day delivered by what looked like a Lyft or Uber driver in his private car. This is my first Packout box. I’m looking forward to more to stack onto it.

Make it a real tool box
I got a half inch piece of plywood and cut it to 19in wide with a 1/8 dado (standard blade width on a table saw nothing fancy) on both sides. 13 3/4 tall. At the bottom on both corners 1 1/4 wide 1/2 tall knotch has to be cut for slope at the bottom. Then got a Husky bucket jockey and cut the sides so they are flush. I used rivets to hold it in place. This is around $20.
