Great tape measure with excellent stand out. Smaller & easier to carry than a 25 foot tape when you don’t need the extra 9 feet. A great deal if you catch it on sale

Great tape measure, indeed the best of the many that I own.

I have around a dozen tape measures, most I've had for ten years or more. I used to "lose" them often, until I had one engraved with my name at a trophy shop. I bought two different model Milwaukee 15' tapes. One has markings on both sides of the tape, the other has a reinforced tape end and a brake that works better than any other tape I've owned. Both have very clear markings. I believe this review is for the tape with markings on both sides of the tape. Very helpful in tight/awkward spaces.

It started falling apart the very first day. The plastic coatin came off and the tape broke. I will not use the Milwaukee tape measure again.

I bought this because it's got most of what I need from a tape measure, and then some (like the scale on both sides of the tape), but was hoping that the "nylon blade protection to reduce tear" would work. Unfortunately, this nylon protection needs protection itself as it peels off very quickly. So I brought back the first one I bought, got another one that also lost it's nylon protection within a day, but kept the tape measure anyways because I like it enough.

Tape broke when bent around a corner, didn't rewind well.

This new version of the milwaukee tape measure has much left to be desired compared to the previous versions. The tape itself is a flimsy plastic material, and has issues staying extended for more than 5-6 feet (not the 15 feet they say it can do). The retraction gear inside is slow, high friction, and doesn't work without assistance. The tape is already ripped a bit and the end clip has fallen off, and I've had it for less than 2 weeks. I wouldn't get this version of the tape, I'd stick with the one that has the front metal guard instead.

Great tape measure. Well marked and makes it easy to measure at a reasonable distance without the tape bending.

Good tape measure ...easy to read . Although for precision...I’d prolly still use my Stanley . The end on the Milwaukee...is loosey-goosey. Gives space for error in measuring

It really measures up! Love it !

Big numbers and easy to use

I have enjoyed the dependable performance of these new tools in my DIY projects. The batteries charge in good time and the power is adequate. Certainly the sales price made it a wise purchase.

This tape measure it’s a little more expensive than many but well worth it. It’s extra wide and durable and the measurements read on both top and bottom of the tape which is very handy depending on the project you’re working on.

This is garbage. Ive had tape measures from dollar general last longer. 3 days it lasted. Then the tape wouldnt go back in.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this measuring tape! It has a feature that most measuring tapes do not have. When you pull out the tape it stays out. This feature makes it much easier to work with. Then when you push the button it retracts. I also like the fact the tape is sturdy. All around a quality product. Definitely recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Milwaukee 25ft. Compact Wide Tape Measure is a great measuring tool to have on hand. Its red and black color makes it easy to find whether its in my tool box or left in our kitchen junk drawer. The measurement numbers are large and bold in color, making for a easy readability especially from a distance. A great feature of this tape measure is it being double sided, with numbers being horizontal on one side and vertical on the other. It doesn't bend and has a decent reach. Easy to extract and retracts not only smoothly, but very rapidly. The edges are smooth, self stop and lock works as its intended. There is a belt clip on the back of the case, the case itself seems to be heavy duty as I have dropped a few times with no damage to it. It is a all around great quality, heavy duty tape measure.

Feels comfortable while using.
