I own just about every Milwaukee tool out there for their quality. This one has a serious defect. From day 1 the saw never turned on properly when hitting the trigger, I probably should have returned it then but I didn’t thinking it was a battery problem. Now I have to shake it etc to get it to kick on. Reading online they have a faulty switch in all of these saws that are just waiting to kick. Milwaukee should really replace these saws as a manufacturer defect . you need to make this right

This saw gets the job done. It doesnt bog down , it starts up and cuts with no hesitation. I couldn’t be more happy with this purchase makes my job a little easier and a little quicker you can’t go wrong with this.

Nice saw. It hits full power almost instantly. The cross slide is really smooth and changing angles is a snap. Definitely recommend

Very accurate, and the tungsten steel blade cuts through all wood like butter. I love the light on the saw blade as well to see your cut! Love this thing

Best cordless saw Ihave ever owned. It seems to be just as powerful as my 15 amp corded saw. I have another Milwaukee circ saw and it works well but this new mo is a beast. Great power management and will zip through 2 x 8 boards like a fat kid rips through a bag of carmel corn. Keep up the good work Milwaukee.

Id have to say i just recently purchased this 18 volt cordless saw the performance was amazing and the grip was very comforting i qas cutting metal frams ro leaght to install glassthe saw never got to hot yo where you couldnt hold it in your hands / i cant wait till Milwaukee atarts making Glazier tools ill be the first in line

The trigger switch has electronics in it and it will Fail will NOT last 5 years. If you cut wood thinner than a 2x4 it will hang up with the blade guard and bind when you are trying to cut, making this a DANGEROUS situation . I have 18 Milwaukee tools but this saw is not worth buying. I can't afford to buy one every several years. Could have been a great saw if these problems did not exist. Milwaukee does not do enough testing with the right people who are professionals .

Great saw, rugged plate and design. Rafter hook is a super convenient as always.

This is my first experience with a cordless circular saw and it was very good. I cut about 350 square feet of 1/8” plywood into 16 to 24 inch square and used one and a half xc5 batteries.

Cuts with the power of a corded saw. Worth the money.

This was my first Milwaukee purchase and holy cow. With a diamond blade in the saw, I was able to cut 5 times through a marble slab without a loss of power or any issues. I couldn’t believe.

I like the power of this saw and the brake to stop the blade the cut was smooth. I also like the features on the plate!

Definitely a strong, smooth running saw, with slow start, only complaint is trigger/rocker switch hangs up slightly when pulling but overall very happy with the saw

I was going to buy the 6-1/2 inch circular saw, but decided on the 7-1/4 inch Fuel M18 as it has more power. It comes with one blade and the one I bought was the tool only as I have 2 Milwaukee batteries already. I am trying to make all my power tools cordless and really like the M18 Fuel tools.

This is the best thing since sliced bread. Once again Milwaukee get it right. Ergonomics are great, feel is great, and the performance is on par with Electric Circular Saws. Also bought the Milwaukee Fuel M18 nail gun. 5 STAR +

It's a very strong circular saw, a little bit heavy, but more valuable than my old, different mark, circular saw.

I’ve been using this saw for a little while now and usually works great aside from us some occasional stuttering. Unfortunately, today I learned the construction or material of this saw is not good at all. I had a slip on a 5 foot ladder and fell with saw in hand. I get up and look at this saw and see that it just snapped as shown in the picture below. I wouldn’t expect a saw of this “quality” to just break so easily. I am a big Milwaukee fan and user with many many of their tools, but This is very disappointing

Cuts like a dream I love this saw Only issue with it is cutting anything that is not a perfect straight line
