Used once so far and it works well to drill through ceramic pot. I had a starter hole and used water to cool it off and enlarge the hole. I started the hole diagonally.

I used this drill bit on a granite countertop to add another faucet. I used a spray bottle of water to keep the bit cool and clean and it cut through the granite like a hot knife though butter! I also like the open side of the bit to remove the core pieces.

This bit I would recommend! It cut through glass flawlessly. I've used this bit about 20 times and it still cuts through the glass like a new bit. I like the excess. slot in the bit to clean the glass out of the barrel. Great product!

Disappointed
So disappointed. Purchased this to drill 4 holes in porcelain tile for a toilet flange. Followed the instructions and it took me an hour to drill and I barely got through the 4th hole. Bit is now garbage and have to buy something else for the wall holes I need to drill. At $20 a piece they should have a better life span.

I drilled four holes in ceramic tile. All went well, but each hole took noticeable longer than previous one to drill.

I purchased it to drill through glass tile for a shower wall, made it through the first hole fine, second cut was way longer, and for the final hole we needed it became too dull to cut, so for $36 I got 2 holes cut. Absolute waste of money

    Faulty bit?
This 1/2 inch bit cut one hole through my porcelain tile floor just great, but the second hole I labored at for about 30 mins and only made a dent (tried both dry and wet cut). The 1.5 inch bit of same brand cut through same floor in seconds (dry) multiple times with no signs of stopping. Not sure if I received faulty bit? 1.5 inch bit of same brand is spectacular- would buy again.

Easy to use and went right through the tile. Just kept the surface wet and had no problem.

Much better than carbide tip drill bits for bathroom tile. Got four holes and can get more, rather than just two.

Used the diamond hole saw to drill two holes through porcelain tile. Using the hole saw to drill required working the diamond surface around and around in the hole. The hole ended up being too large when installing the screw. The hole saw also left a dimple in the center that was difficult to remove. Only drilled two holes trough porcelain tile and the bit was done. Not worth the money, probably should ask for a refund!

Using this to drill holes in bathroom tiles and it wears out quickly. I have only been able to get 2 holes drilled before it gets dull and needs replaced. That figures out to be a little one $11 dollars a hole.

Used it to make a lamp. Very nice bit. Makes a clean hole when used properly.

Worked great on a hard porcelain tile drilling 4 holes. Would buy again when this one burns out.
