Milwaukee….3/8in and 1/4in Drive SAE/Metric Ratchet and Sockets Mechanics Tool Set. It Includes 106 pc SAE and Metric Socket sizes with PACKOUT Case. Just opening the box you can see and feel the Quality of this Tool Set if you ever have a Bolt in a very tight space you will need this 90 tooth ratchet with 4 degree arc swing this ratchet made it simple for me. The sockets have a great feature that I love one end is square and keeps it from rolling off my work bench or you can put a crescent wrench on it for a little extra leverage. Each socket is stamped with its size and is highly visible, easy to use directional lever; The PACKOUT Organizer is Impact resistant and durable with a clear top. This Organizer is part of the Milwaukee PACKOUT Modular storage system. The Quality and the features of this tool set make it my choice. This is a Great Product.

The pluses far out-weight a couple of minuses with this versatile ratchet tool set. And although this set can be used for both auto and non-automotive tasks, it's under the hood where this set shines...... Simply, my older set of ratchets (low tooth count, bulky head profiles) were making simple tasks like replacing a car battery much harder than it had to be.......But this tool set was a huge improvement for working in tight spaces because of several key features: the high 90-tooth count giving it a very small arc swing; the sockets are contoured to accept a wrench (if added leverage is needed); the slim profile to get into tight spaces; and the variety of sizes in both SAE and metric.....Two minuses: the handles are slippery and could have benefited with knurling. And you'll need to use two hands to change sockets because the ratchet lacks a release button.

The Low-Profile Organizer is compatible with all PACKOUT products and is very heavy duty. The tray design inside makes using these tools nice and easy. I really like the Ratchets with slim profile & 90 tooth design & 4° arc swing for tight work spaces. The ratchets, both 3/8" & 1/4" have a flush directional lever and are very smooth. Wrench-ready sockets with 4-flat sides make using a wrench on the socket easy when you do not have the room for the Ratchet. The sockets have stamped sizes that are very easy to read. Included: 56-piece 3/8 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket set 50-piece 1/4 in. Drive Ratchet and Socket set, PACKOUT compact organizer. This set is the best set of sockets i have ever owned. Milwaukee 3/8-inch . and 1/4-inch Drive SAE/Metric Ratchet and Socket Mechanics Tool Set with PACKOUT Case (106-Piece) is a ratchet set consisting of a large assortment of sockets in two sizes. The sockets are steel forged and heavy chromed, well done to a high standard. This package is two full sets in one and possibly four or more depending on how you count. What I mean is not only does it have 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch sets, but they are double sets with both regular and long socket ends in SAE and Metric sizes. Usually, these are different sets sold separately. It also includes as accessories extension bars and two universal swivel joints. I'd describe it as the Milwaukee deluxe set. They seemed to fill the case until they ran out of room. The case itself, PACKOUT capable, is solidly done with heavy duty clasps, tough hinges and a rubber gasket around the lid. It comes with three removable trays that holds everything, one for SAE, another for Metric and a smaller tray for the two socket drivers. The trays hold everything securely with openings marked for each socket so you can keep it all straight for quick access. It all fits as part of the Milwaukee PACKOUT system or used separately. The socket array includes 1/4-inch sockets: both standard length and deep well, run from 5/32-inch up to 9/16- inch and metric sizes, 5-mm to 15-mm. The 3/8-inch sockets include: standard length ones from 1/4-inch to 1-inch and deep well from 1/4-inch to 7/8-inch. Metric sizes, both depths, are 6-mm to 19-mm. The socket drivers included have a slim head where sockets snap on and off, no locking button. They include a standard forward and reverse toggle lever. The arc swing is 4 degrees with 90 teeth for turning which is helpful when used in tight spaces. Milwaukee I've noticed is always trying to improve tool designs. Here they changed the socket shape in the set to a boxed square end that attaches to the driver. This shape also accommodates an open or box hand wrench to turn it. It can be used this way to loosen a bolt when the ratchet can't reach down into tight spots. This is especially useful to me since I have a set of stubby wrenches that come in handy here. The obvious other benefit in the square end design, flattened sides keep sockets from rolling around. I own several sets of socket wrenches put together over the years and these are the best both in quality and completeness all in one set. I will start by saying this is a great set. Partnered with a great tool storage system. Where is the fail and the reason for the one star? Only avalible in SAE...Where is the metric? Where is the 1/4 set? No big deal i will just order the metric set and the 1/4” set online because you cant get it in the store and build my own albet at a much higher price. I jumped for joy when the arrived. I went to fetch the packout slims that i bought seprate and started to put them in. But wait, they dont fit. After calling Milwaukee direct and talkig to a represenitive this was a product created for Home Depot exclusively. So now I have all the sockets i need and no wat to intagrate in to the packout system that i am so invested in.

Milwaukee has come a long way in the tool business. This set with the square sockets is unbelievable. It is so easy to use and it doesn't slip from the greasy fingers. Each socket is marked for easy identification even when covered in grease and oil. The ratchet has a 3 degree throw arch which makes it very easy to use in a cramped space. The pop out tray is nice if you dont want to take the storage box with you when you are working out od a tool box with drawers. It stores in the drawers nicely. This is a rugged set and should last me a long time. Its not a terribly big set but its perfect for the DIY'er. Good investment for my tool kits.

I was to excited to get my 3/8 in. Drive SAE Ratchet and Socket Set (28-Piece). I have a few Milwaukee tools & they are 2nd to none. The ratchet is a fine tooth one & works awesome. The sockets are marked pretty good but I wish they were painted too like there wrenches. The case for the socket set is very nice & it will be easy to keep track of them. I will be using these for many years to come.

Amazing socket set. Ratchets are awesome. The packout case sets this set over the top. All the sockets fit perfect and you can carry it by the handle without the sockets popping out and rolling. Everything I expect from Milwaukee and more!

This Milwaukee 3/8" Ratchet and Socket set is really excellent. I love the appearance and feel of it, and I've used it numerous times now. The performance is fantastic, and I would definitely suggest it to anyone.

Getting tired of next day, promised delivery dates only to be delayed an extra 2 to 3 days later. This happens on just about every online order I make with Home Depot now. Getting ready to move to another retailer for my Milwaukee tools.

Good set, well organized and made. Square based sockets do not roll off the bench.

The 1/2" drive sockets come in a full depth packout case, but they have foam inserts between the trays and the case bottom. It would have been better if the 1/2" trays were to recess all the way and then allow the 3/8" & 1/4" trays to sit on top of them. They can fit this way if you modify the case a tiny bit, but I haven't because I don't think the sockets would stay in place if this were done. Milwaukee could have made this case do this and still hold the sockets in place with magnets or clips or whatever. I have carried twelve short sockets in my drill box with a little socket organizer rail with sliding holders that have the ball bearing detent to keep them secure. They have never once fell off; milwaukee could have done that instead of these loose trays that can't be stacked.

This set has been a life saver for me. Every socket is etched with the sizing and includes shallow and deep sockets of equivalent sizing without skipping any in the series. The included packout organizer is great because it's compatible with packout trays and boxes for easy retrieval and storage. I also like the inclusion of multiple extensions and a swivel. The included 3/8" ratchet is also high quality and features a handy "on/off" labeling for easy switching back and forth.

This set is very useful around the house, tune ups , and even at my personal place of work, i take this set everywhere i go!!!
