Battery will not charge just blinks red and green
This is an expensive light with a cheap battery that doesn’t recharge . The battery keeps flashing red and green. Coast is a better brand I wasted a lot of money on this inferior product The quality is just not there .The magnet also broke down with inferior metals

Only stays on a few seconds.
Only stays in for a few seconds and then shuts off. Tried changing batteries several times. From other reviews, looks to be a known problem. Disappointing

Really bright, good battery life and durability.
Bought this over a year ago now and it has held up quite well. I've welded near it, lots of heat and sparks and it hasn't been affected by it that much, I've dropped it multiple times and it's still working as it should. Battery life seems to be good as well, no noticeable drop in the time it takes to charge it or for the battery to run out. The nice thing about Milwaukee lights is that you can also get more rechargeable batteries so you can use it the whole day at full brightness. It lasts about 8 hours on the lowest setting an 4 on the highest which is really good. The magnet is strong as well and easy to clean if it has picked up any sort of metal shavings. This is a must have if you're looking for a compact flood light with a magnet.

Rear magnet won't actually stick to anything metal
The only way this light will stick to a frig is with some tape. I uploaded a hilarious video up to a review site that will let you post videos of this light in action sliding down a frig.

          Updated Battery
I've only had this light for one day so not so much of a review but an update to the info on this product. When this light first came out it had the 2.5Ah battery. The one I bought has the 3.0Ah battery so the run times will be increased. On the packaging that I received it says the following: High: 550 lumens; 2.5 hrs run time Medium: 250 lumens; 6 hrs run time Low: 100 lumens: 13.25 hrs run time So longer run times than posted on the HD website. As far as this light goes, I like that it can be set on a level surface and the head angled so it can light up what I need to see. The option to hang it via the carabiner or use the magnet to stick it to metal surfaces is very handy. I haven't used the carabiner yet but I stuck it onto the side of my fridge and the magnet is very strong. It will be difficult to knock it off of a metal surface. The user interface if very easy to use. There is only one button to turn it on. The same button is then used to cycle through the different light outputs with High being the first one, then medium, then low, then off. If the light is on at any level and then the power button is pressed and held it will shut off after about 1.5 seconds. I don't know what the led temp and CRI are of this light but I would estimate around 4500-5000K and about 85CRI but whatever the real numbers are I am happy with the type of output. The light is not that big, 4-3/8" wide, 2-3/4" tall and 1-1/4" deep but the amount of light output is very good. Good trouble/work light to own and use.

            Clip broke
I actually fixed the clip by putting a screw in it. That I could live with. Now only half of the LEDs light. I’m going to send it into Warranty. This process is a pain

Great versatile handheld flood light by Milwaukee
This is my second Milwaukee 445 Lumens LED Rover Rechargeable Pocket Flood Light. My last one was stolen as i was buying charcoal for my dinner at a local grocery store. So I had to repurchase this amazing light. I have used it for plumbing work. The magnet works great and holds very well upright and horizontal for hands free work to be done. Using this Milwaukee LED Rover Pocket Flood Light in attics and crawlspaces has been very worthy in such a small compact size. I also have used this flood light for hikes on trails and placed on my backpack. Attached the flood light on my track bike to pedal around locally. I feel like Iron Man having this upon my chest, as onlookers stop and stare as i go by them. I recommend this Milwaukee Rover LED Flood light

                  Very nice flashlight
It’s a very nice flashlight and the magnet points are very functional but the magnet assembly broke within a month and the ON And OFF rubber comes off really easy. I have to reinsert the rubber back in place from time to time.

                    Awesome light, planned obsolescence clip
Fantastic bright light. Both settings good, really convenient that it’s rechargeable, however the magnetic clip, as well as clip design itself, is so bad that it couldn’t have been a mistake. $55 planned obsolescence.

The light is good, but not great. If this light was more durable, I wouldn't have much bad to say about it. It delivers great light in a very versatile package that offers a removable battery. I purchased both this light and the rover led light giving me a total of 3 batteries with an additional charger about 7 months ago. Under heavy daily use as a automotive tech, I have managed to break both lights with relative ease. Just a few drops from 5-6 feet will do the trick. The clip/carabiner broke right off and the body of the light has many scars from regular use. Between the 2 lights, this one has held up better with more use. Compared to the snap-on project light, the snap-on light is hands down more durable, has a better magnet but when the snap-on light goes dead in the middle of a job, back to the charger it goes. I like the Milwaukee's removable/replaceable battery, warmer more natural color light, and flood/less focused light output.

I have had my light for about four weeks now. I am a Field Service Engineer, so I use my tools on a daily basis. I also take very good care of my tools with that said. I love this light, I run it in the low setting most of the time. On low it will last a good 10 hours. The magnetic base works good, and the rotation is great you can position it anywhere you need the light. So, it's a great light except for the case and the lens are cracking on mine. I haven't contacted anyone about my issues yet. I'm gonna try to get back to the store this week to maybe get an exchange. I may have just got one with a bad batch of material. we'll see...

It worked better than expected. So I bought another one. The light was very bright and I was able to continue my outdoor work well after sunset. The magnets were very strong so positioning the light on ferrous metals was awesome.

We choose this flashlight to help with a removal of an old bathroom sink faucet, and reinstallation of a new faucet. The vanity is a small 24 inch and we knew it would be dark when we were trying to back off the nuts etc on the faucet. The light was perfect for this as we were able hang it with the Caribiner clip that it has as part of its designs.

A great pocket work light. I find the Milwaukee magnetic flood light is ideal for task that I need the work area "flooded" with light such as electrical work or under the hood. The Trueview color temperature is perfect for me and seems more like natural sunlight versus lights that have more blue. I would guess the temperature range of this light is around 4k. I like that is takes just ordinary batteries (AA) and that it easily fits in my pocket or in my tool bag. The only "cons" of this light is the battery access cap. It comes off a little too easy sometimes popping off in my tool bag and the other is the belt clip. Although easy to use the size almost makes it obtrusive. I don't have a recommended solution for the clip for Milwaukee; I like the clip, just not all the time. Battery life is on par with Milwaukee specs; I mostly use the high level and get about 4.5 hours.

The Milwaukee flood light is an excellent little light source. It is mounted on a pivoting base that allows you to rotate the LED (10) lights up to 210 degrees of direction. Part of the pivoting base is a spring clasp that can be attached to a tool belt and has a notch to place it on a nail or screw. It has strong magnets on the back so you can attach it to a metal surface. The light allows you to set the intensity to three different light levels. It comes with a USB cord for recharging the lithium battery. I would recommend this light especially if you are working in close quarters and require a lot of light.

This is the Milwaukee Rover, USB rechargeable pivoting flood light. In short, this is a versatile, bright (550 lumens on High, 250 on Medium, and 100 on Low), rugged little light (Photo 1 shows you what you get—the light and a USB cord—the battery comes pre-installed in the light). Note that a wall adapter is not included, but who doesn’t have a house full of them these days? It’s hard to tell exactly how large the light is from the pictures on Home Depot’s website, so Photo 2 shows the light in the palm of my hand. Not very big at all. I didn’t test the battery life, but Milwaukee claims you’ll get a couple hours on High, and 11.5 hours on Low. And if you use a 2.1A compatible adapter, you can get an 80% charge in under an hour. I particularly like the magnetic base, and as an electrician, it comes in really handy when working on an electrical panel (see Photo 3). Photo 4 shows the light’s magnets only partly touching the top of the panel—this shows how powerful they are (there was no room to push the light farther back on the panel because the connectors were in the way). Another good example of the usefulness of the magnetic base is under a sink. I attached the light to the garbage disposal and it lit up the under-sink area nicely. In addition to the magnetic base, there is a built-in carabiner. This can be used to clip the light onto your tool bag/pouch for storage or to hang the light from anything convenient (pipe, wire, etc., see Photo 5). There’s also a notch in the carabiner so you can easily hang it from a nail (see Photo 6). Overall, this is a great little light. It comes with a lifetime warranty (2-year warranty on the battery).

Pretty handy little item and only 5” long, perfect for a pocket or a glove compartment (with its magnet, it’ll stick to something in there, though). This is NOT the rechargeable model and batteries are included; it’s ready to go out of the package. There’s a strong magnet on the top and one on the side. In order to use the side magnet, the clip needs to be rotated ¼ turn which is easily done but does require a firm grip. It puts out quite a lot of bright light in basically a half circle. There is some ambient light behind the circle. I’ve included a picture of how much light it puts out on a basically moonless night, plenty to light up a get-together or help you get a job done. The photos were taken by a camera phone and the wall you see in the photo is 45’ from the light source.

Very bright portable light. Robust construction makes me think this will last the test of time. Can just toss into a tool box without worries. It's has more of a spread beam compared to a flashlight for more coverage of a work area. One side is magnetic making it easy to stick and position. It came in very handy recently with some under sink work. Also has a rotating clip similar to a pocket knife for ease of transporting in your clothes. It does appear to live up to the 300 lumen claim.

This is a great flood light by Milwaukee. Though the light is small in size, you can probably fit it in your pocket, it gives off a great deal of light on its high setting. the light has a lot of nice features included on it. It has some high strength magnets on the back along with a clip. The clip has a little notch in it if you want to hang it on a nail or screw. The notch is well centered so you can hang it without it slipping to one side or the other. I like that it has multiple modes that can be used and it has great battery run time on any of the modes but obviously the longest battery life on the lower settings. I would highly recommend this light especially if you are working under a sink or need a smaller area to light.

This is a great little work light. It is small, so it's good for portable uses. It has a sturdy metal clip and also a strong magnet, for hands-free use. I took a few pictures of it lighting up the engine of the car, while it was stuck to the hood with its magnet, you can see inside quite well. This is a heavy little light. That makes it sturdy, but it will be too heavy for some applications. I decided to keep this in the utility closet, which is rather dim, and could use an extra light when you want to see in the dark corners (this is where we keep the garbage can, so I want to make sure there is no detritus in the corners). I first tried attaching it with a nyodymium magnet to the metal clip, with the magnet's 3M foam tape attachment to the shelf above the storage area. The magnet adhered great to the metal clip, but the weight must have been too great for the light - the foam tape ripped, and and it fell off. I then used the clip to clip it to a hook, and that is working fine. When I need to use the light for a project, I can take it off and use it, and when I need it to light up the storage closet, it will be there. It's really bright and illuminates the area great, using a push button switch.
