Milwaukee tools are the greatest tools in my tool box. This set of 2 Step drill bits work great. You can start out from a 3/16" hole and enlarge that hole up to 7/8" to 1 1/8" holes, depending on your project. They are specifically designed for compact cordless drills, using the high speed setting. Built of quality steel for faster drilling and longer life.

I have been using the step drills for some time now, I have had some projects with alunimum. The holes have not needed to be perfect but these drills set up in the mill turning slow with no lube are doing a great job. The holes are very accurate each and every time. If I set up my piece properly I can get away with a couple of holes without changing bits. Have I saved time and money? You bet I have. Will I buy more when these are worn? Yes.

It worn out after 2 holes I. Quarter inch L bracket steel. So disappointing thinking of sending g all my Milwaukee power tools and hand tool back

Have had this set for over 2 years and both are still going strong. Use them daily drilling panels, wireways, boxes, and door frames.

These are excellent and durable bits. We use them for knock outs in electrical boxes as well as for thick steel. Theyre even great in 1/2” mild steel with oil and slow rpm. Highly recommend!

These step bits seem very well made and are very sharp. Time will tell how long they last.I am generally not one to abuse my tools so probably a very long time. They are also Made in the USA which is nice, but strange these days, sadly..

We do a high volume of sheet metal work, and step bits are a must for things like balancing damper installation, panel knockouts, and cleanout holes. I have used every brand of step bit out there, and I think the Milwaukee product holds an edge the longest. I'm particularly happy with the diameter marking on the bits; the most common sizes are clearly marked, easy to read, and feature slightly larger steps for a tactile sensation when you've hit the right size.

Milwaukee tools is the leader in tools for a good reason, they put out a superior product. The Milwaukee two (2) pack of step drill bits (uni-bit) is no exception. It allows you to either drill or enlarge an existing holes. Has convenient markings for the 7/8" and 1-1/8". Those of you in the trade know that these are common holes for 1/2" and 3/4" pipe. The step bits are optimized for cordless tool use. Drill two times faster and last four times longer. We all know that time is money on the job and everyone would like to keep more of their hard earn money than buying new step bits. As someone who uses step bits everyday, I highly recommend the Milwaukee two back.
