I have got myself these drill bits for installing the security cameras around my house. I didn't have a masonry drill bit early on and tried to use a metal drill bit to drill, but no luck. It just didn't eat into the wall. With these babies, it took me seconds to get into the depth that I needed on my wall. I installed 5 cameras which required 15 holes. After the project was done, the bit was still sharp as new.

This is an excellent masonry drill bit set from a well-known manufacturer MILWAUKEE. These masonry drill bits are carbide tipped, so they won't wear out as fast as ordinary masonry bits. Another nice feature of these bits is the shape of the shank. Each of the bits has three flat sides that hold the bit securely and prevent the bits from spinning in the drill chuck. The bits are easily stored in the reusable plastic case that that comes with the drill kit. Very nice product!!

Excellent set of quality bits. The bits have 3-flats on the shanks which keep them securely set in the chuck. There is a very helpful "center point" tip which allows for precision drilling. As others have mentioned, let the bits do the work to preserve the carbide tips. The bits have held up well, with no signs of dulling, but just in case, the set of 7 bits does include 2 each of the most popular ones, 1/4" and 3/16". They are made in Germany. I would highly recommend them.

These carbide hammer drill bits worked like a dream for me. They were able to cut through concrete and cinder block with no problem producing a smooth bore holes that I needed to put anchors and lag bolts in. Though these bits are designed for a hammer-drill, with their three flat sided shanks they work just as smoothly using a standard 3/8 inch variable speed drill, without slipping in the drill chuck. I love the storage case they come in, no more looking for loose bits rolling around in my tool chest.

Its not every day that you are in need of a concrete or masonry drill bit, but when you do need one I can defiantly recommend this Milwaukee set of 7 bits that cover most of the normal use around your home. Just yesterday we started putting up our Christmas decorations and with some extra wreaths this year I had to put some concrete screws in our very hard brick. These bits were the easiest and best that I have ever used. the flat shank design and their pointed end designs made it much faster and neater for me to place my hanger screws.

My facility has cement block walls so we use hammer drill bits daily. They plow through the wall with little effort time and time again. I have had these for about a month and still have not had to replace any of them. Granted that I am constantly drill into concrete block and not aged solid slab concrete but I like that I have not had to replace any of them as of yet which saves me time and money.

I like the secure grips on these bits. It can be very annoying when the chuck slips while drilling/boring. The bits seem to last a long time. I have had projects where I need a box full of bits to be able to drill enough holes to complete the project (porcelain tile). The project I just completed was drilling into brick. I used a lubricant which I am sure adds to the life of the bit. I completed the job using only one bit. I would recommend this product.

This is an excellent masonry drill set from a well-known manufacturer. It contains all the sizes normally needed for setting screws or screw anchors into masonry surfaces. The drills are carbide tipped, so they should stand up to repeated use. The shank of each of the bits has has three flat sides to prevent the bits from spinning in the drill chuck. They come in a reusable plastic case that provides convenient storage.

What can I say these are great. Just what I except from Milwaukee. They work really well. I've only used a couple of them a few times but they work great in my Ryobi Hammer Drill. I can see them lasting much better than the cheep ones I had before. The case is nice but I'm not sure how long the case will actually last. I hope to get a long life out of these.

Very nice set of small hammer drill bits, 5/32" up to 3/8". I have always preferred Milwaukee bits because they seem to last longer and cut better than some of the others I have tried. Included with the bits is a very handy plastic carrying case. The case also states 'Made in Germany', which may account for the better performance as compared to lesser brands.

This Milwaukee carbide hammer drill set is a terrific value in my opinion. I've only used 2 bits so far, one cut several holes in hollow block quickly with no fuss, the other went through some hard concrete a bit more slowly but with no damage. They are sturdy enough for their size, and all 6 bits were nice and straight (I'm always surprised when new bits wobble, but it happens a lot). I don't know that I'd use these day-in and day-out, but they suit my occasional needs perfectly.

There are two quality touches here that should be noted: the packaging of the bits also functions as a permanent case. This is not mentioned in the promotional blurb here and really should be -- no one likes dumping a new set of hammer drill bits in an old coffee can with a bunch of old bits that are mostly worn out. These bits will also be held more securely in a hammer drill's chuck because the shank is cut into a triangle to fit a standard 1/2 in. chuck's jaws. This provides enormous strength for prolonged drilling and will limit warping and bending while drilling. Good stuff for most small concrete drilling applications.

Excellent carbide drills for brick, concrete block, plain and reinforced concrete. These 2 cutter bits eat into concrete like wood bits drill into wood - that is with ease. I used to buy another brand but my son gave me a Father’s Day gift of Milwaukee drills for an upcoming project and I was amazed at the difference in both the way they progress and life expectancy. I have used these with my M18 battery powered hammer drill with excellent results. This package includes five of the common sizes used for concrete inserts and screws with two each of the most used 3/16” and 1/4” sizes in a handy plastic case.

I have several sets of Milwaukee drill bits, and this hammer drill set is no exception to the excellent quality of Milwaukee bits. Drilling in concrete block is easy, and even into solid concrete doesn't dull the bit until after 8-10 holes, compared to only a few holes with a non-carbide bit. Sharpening the bit restores the cutting quality, as it does most all drill bits. This kit includes the most popular sizes in a plastic box.

I used these to install some tapcons. I needed a hole in concrete block about an 1.5" deep. Using an M-18 hammer drill, the 5/32" bit made the hole in seven seconds. I was impressed with how fast it tore into the concrete. I used the 3/16" bit in a concrete paver with rock set in the surface. Again, it chewed deep and fast into the paver. The 3/16 hit something, and the bit came out of the chuck, but it cut a nice hole fast. Even boring between the rocks in the paver, the tip showed no wear.

These are some of my new favorite bits. The absolutely punish the concrete that you are drilling through, and they do it fast. I drilled hole, after hole, after hole with these, and not one issue with dulling or breakage. I also love how the flutes take the dust up and discharge it rather than bogging down the the bit. I have to say I am very pleaded with this bit, and for the price, you absolutely cant go wrong.

This drill bit set has the same size bits as Milwaukee # 48-20-8851 (THD SKU #525593) but it has one extra of the 3/16 and 1/4 bits. The bits are nicely crafted. I've used the 1/4 and 3/8 bits to drill holes in concrete for anchors. With my hammer drill, the bits bore through the concrete like it was a piece of pine. I've found the plastic case they come in to be surprising useful for storing the bits. I used a sharp knife to to cut the plastic wrapper right where the bottom edge of the top half the of case ends, right in the middle of the words Larga vida on the wrapper. The bits were made in Germany.

Nicely crafted drill bits. I like the way they stay centered when drilling in concrete. I've used the 1/4 and 3/8 bits to drill holes for concrete anchors. Using my hammer drill, they bored right into twenty-five-year-old concrete like it was a softwood. The clear plastic case they come in is surprisingly useful for storing them. Take care not to damage it when opening it for the first time. I used a sharp knife to cut through the plastic wrapper, about 1/3 of the way up from the bottom of the case, right where Larga vida is written on the from of the wrapper. Bits were made in Germany.

Another great product from Milwaukee for the contractor, diyer or homeowner. As a handyman this 7 piece pack is good for all those projects requiring a small (1/8" - 1/2" ) hole to be able to mount outdoor art, garden baskets, lights or holiday items. The 3 flat secure grip is very useful in keeping the bit from moving in the chuck. A nice set to have in the tool box. The bit storage box could be a little better designed to hold the bits more securely.

Milwaukee makes great equipment in my opinion and these hammer drill bits are no exception. There are 7 bits included in this set, one 3/8", one 5/16", two 1/4", two 3/16", and one 5/32". The bits are stamped Germany so the steel is a quality steel which I hope to stay sharp for a long time. Each shank has 3 flat sections which keep the bit from spinning in the drill chuck. They come in a handy plastic container box for neat and easy storage.

I highly recommend these bits. They seem to drill really fast and last a long time. I like this set of five bits from 5/32-3/8 inches as a set for a DIYer like myself. You buy one set and it should be effective for most jobs. The other thing I like about this set is the bits are 6 inches in length. Most of my other bits in this size range are only 4.5-5 inches in length.

Great Hammer Drill Bits
These are great bits and do not slip in the chuck. I mainly use them in poured concrete walls and slabs and they work very well. I will most likely purchase another set in case I ever wear these tough bits out.
