It charged the first time (or i think it did), then after that i get the red/green blink and won't charge. None of my other M12 batteries have that problem. I'm going to imagine it's a M12 XC6.0 problem. To top it off, the XC6.0 burned up one of my chargers. I put the battery on the charger, i got the infamous Red/green/red flash and the charger died. I tried the XC6.0 battery on another charger and the same red/green flash, then a solid red/green. I pulled the battery.

Does charge anymore. Have only had this m12 battery for a couple months. Now it just flashes. I thought milwaukee batteries were awesome? Maybe the m18s are but not the m12s

Strong battery in a small form factor

These are perfect for the bare stubby impact i bought. Would buy again if i need more battery packs.

really hard to rate these just yet. It will be a while before anything could possibly go wrong. it was a good deal and I am liking the power in the M12 system. I started with 18 volt yellow tools in the early 90's and used to think yellow was the only way to go. I have been pleased with these tools and was shocked that the drill driver the dog took to the back yard to chew on still works. I have my eye on a few other tools from M12 system and like having extra batteries handy.

Very reliable for long jobs....definitely a must have if your looking for a durable battery

Well worth the cost compared to the smaller batteries. I have had it run my rotary tool(dremel) and speaker a handful of times and it's still at full charge. I use it with my rotary tool to sharpen my saw and I'm amazed how long it's lasted me compared to my other 12 v batteries.

Its worth the money Milwaukee batteries are the best I use my cordless Milwaukee ratchets and impacts alot, and with this battery i don’t have to charge it often. im very happy with it !

Milwaukee seems to be able to always cram more into a smaller form factor than anybody else. They were able to more than DOUBLE the capacity of their old extended battery, while keeping the exact same form factor. The battery did not get a larger footprint at all, in any way. They managed to upgrade the internal lithium cells in the exact same space while literally doubling battery life. I am thoroughly impressed, and the extended battery life really does show. I used it in several tools and noticed the extended battery life, and also used it in my Milwaukee heated jacket, while uncomfortable, provided a much, much longer operating time than any other battery. Highly recommend to those that use and abuse your M12 tools!

I love all of my Milwaukee tools. Every time I use something from my M12 collection I am pleasantly surprise about the amount of power I get from a lightweight tool. The new XC 6.0AH batteries add 2 great things to my M12 experience. First thing....Obviously extended run times. I notice this on certain tools that just gobble up battery power. For me ..it the HACKZALL. this is the main tool that just seems to not last quite as long as you would like it to last. This battery has changed that. Great run times with the new extended capacity battery. Second thing....This one is not so obvious. It makes a great STAND for my drill and impact gun. Seems like a little thing, but it is very nice added benefit!!

This M12 battery is a big improvement over the XC battery. The original XC battery is rated 32 Wh. This 6.0 AH battery is rated 72 Wh! I could notice any increase in external dimensions at all. See comparison image. It charged up quickly and works as expected in my M12 tools. I like that these batteries allow a drill to be stood up on the battery.

It's dimensions are L = 3.5", W = 2.5", H = 4.5", weight 0.9 lbs. It takes 3 times as long to charge this battery (1.5 hrs) over my 1.5 ah battery but I was able to get more work done per charge, which also means that I'll get more life out of this battery as well. It fit into my M12 charger without tipping over. It's only downfall is that it is harder to pull out from my drill than a smaller battery. Since I love cordless, I have several M12 tools, chargers and batteries that I use because they are more compact and less weight than M18's. I use my M12 drill/driver with a 1.5 ah or 2.0 ah battery when working on small projects. This past summer I helped a friend remove screws from his deck boards so we could replace them with new boards. This involved a lot of pre-drilling and drilling. I began using my drill with my 1.5 ah battery. As I was exchanging my battery for another fully charged one he asked me if I wanted to try his 6.0 ah battery instead. Although it was double the weight of my smaller battery, it ended up lasting the whole project and the additional 0.5 pound did not tire me out. If you need more power and/or long lasting power, this is a great battery for your projects.

I've got both the standard and original XC batteries for the M12 system, which worked well, though I could occasionally have used more power or run time. This battery appears to add considerable power to the already good XC batteries, and does so with nearly identical dimensions and weight. I really haven't noticed any difference in handling between this and the original XC battery, and as you can see from the pictures, there's no noticeable difference in size (I actually mixed the two up, I meant to put the old XC in the middle but it's on the right end). Solid, sturdy, can take some beating, definitely worth it if you find yourself running out of juice with the lower capacity batteries.

The battery stopped charging after a week. However, I returned it and got another one. Home Depot's customer was great.

Bought 3 of these at a decent deal but soon found out why, THEY ARE JUNK! 1 stopped working almost immediately after purchase, will not recharge. Tried to warranty but was denied for "unknown reasons" then 6 months in after purchase another one quit, and now after owning less than 18 months all three (3) have stopped recharging. I have over 25 different Milwaukee batteries both M12 and M18 and several different AH ratings and these are the only ones I ever had an issue with. Some I own were bought in 2012. The M12 6.0AH ARE JUNK they will just stop recharging, AVOID THE M12 6.0ah battery at all costs. VERY DISAPPOINTED

I haven't used my XC6.0 battery in a tool yet but it won't even charge. All my chargers flash red and green indicating a battery issue, pretty disappointed with it. Noticed on Milwaukee's site that this specific battery has abysmal reviews. Stay away from this model, XC5.0 HO seems like a better option.

Does not charge this was my second one after returning the first one and it’s not my chargers I have three of them I barely use these batteries. but my 1.5 batteries never give me a problem

Milwaukee makes great products, that is way I have chosen them during the last 10 years or so. But this new powerful battery would not take a second charge, so I returned it.

There is definitely something with these batteries. I had 2, then one started flashing while charging after about 2 weeks. Took it back to Home Depot and just thinking it was a bad one in the batch, I got another one. Bad choice on my part..This one is doing the same thing! I've been a loyal Milwaukee Tool Buyer for many years. I don't think ill be getting another. I've read the reviews, If you have M12, it seems the 4.0 and the High Output 5.0 batteries are the way to go. Better Reviews anyhow.

Died after the second use. Online says it’s a common problem with the 6ah.

Love the Milwaukee M12 drill and the 6.0Ah battery is excellent. Ordering from Home Depot is fast and reliable.

No stars. Never received. No email no update nothing

Worked perfectly. Just needed a bit of extended run time for my M12 tools.
