This is a good step up from my old 3/8" capacity brushed M12 drill. The 1/2" chuck capacity is nice and the motor really has the torque to drive bits that use larger than 3/8" shanks. The old 3/8" drill even with the large battery you can stop by hand on speed 2. The new Fuel drill will rip the chuck from your hand. The newer CP and XP batteries are noticeablely better than my old non-CP and XP batteries.

Great little Drill lots of torque, I like the 3 speed feature. the forward reverse switch failed when i let go of the trigger it would change direction on it's own. took it to my Dealer , they gave me a New One

This cordless drill seems to be well made with adequate power. I'm a homeowner doing typical around-the-house projects. I've only used it once, but it seems to be as described.

Top of the line. Quality, it just feels different in your hand

Easy to use. I wish it had one or two starter drill bits or screw driver attachments. Other than that, it's great.

The drill is compact and light weight but still has the power needed to get the job done. It is easy to use and handles well. The 1/2" chuck allows for the use of a variety of accessories.

Hmm, not true, I purchased a drill kit. Which includes a charger and 2 batteries. I am very pleased with the kit, it is everything I thought it would be, quality and performance are outstanding. Very pleased. Please correct your records to read a complete kit. Thank you.

Impressed with the power. No problem with a 3 1/4 hole saw. 1/2 in chuck is a huge bonus.

I got this to replace my earlier model drill/driver l got for fathers day some time ago. Thought it was time to go brushless this time. The unit functioned out of the box, but was not happy with the proformace of the tool. The spin up to speed was really noticeable. Returned and bought the brushed version. Cool idea, but the maybe it was either subpare mostfet switches or the motor control chip not being timed right. Noticed a long delay from trigger pull to chuck wind up. Plus it made this horrible hi ptiched wine a start up. My suggestion would be to not use the M12 version of this tool. I feel that this tool requires it be reserved for the M18 line maybe. Love your tools all around. They feel better in my hands than the Dewalt tools I've used in the past. A closed second to these tools is Ryobi 18v plus one as for comfort use on long projects. I do have large hands, and even though I use the M12, they still feel good in my ungloved hand. You keep making great tools and I'll keep buying them. If this is your new way forward with the fuel line, l will have to stop buying them.
