I've been waiting for this portable non-gas powered pump for quite some time and when Milwaukee finally announced the existence of such a product I quickly acquired it from Home Depot. While it is NOT a production type gas powered pump which typically would be capable of pushing massive amounts of water, this portable pump meets all my homeowner needs..... quickly emptying out hot water tanks for change out, emptying out large sized aquarium tanks for water change outs, emptying landscape ponds, pumping modest amounts of water for roof work (mixing up small batches of mortar for chimney pointing), emptying malfunctioning washing machines, camping, etc. This well thought out portable pump will save my arthritic back not having to lug large 5-gallon pails of water from point A to point B. The clear pump window on this ingenious tool is a plus as I can insure nothing is abnormal during usage. You will have to use large capacity Milwaukee M18 batteries along in addition to insuring there is a backup battery being recharged since the amp draw of this pump is voracious. It would be nice also if Milwaukee eventually comes out with a wall powered battery eliminator to compliment this nice pump.

Easy to use. Very portable. Good volume and fast for a small pump. Conveniently works with 18v Milwaukee batteries.

Purchased the transfer pump in October 2023, used it once to transfer water, tried to use it again in January 2023 and would not switch on. I have had this sudden failure twice on a Milwaukee 2 gallon vacuum and a skill saw. Clearly Milwaukee has a quality production problem, evident in the frequent similar complaints in the reviews. Added to this there is essentially no warranty on these products as the timeline for warranty work is 4-5 weeks and then just repeats the problem. Replies from Milwaukee prove to be nothing more than a run around. To preserve its credibility Homedepot should discontinue selling this line. Don't buy Milwaukee!

Works great. I use it almost on a daily basis. And it has not Give me any problems.. i did have to Change the impeller as I had some frozen. Hydraulic fluid. Break off a couple of the impellers cheap fix and I was up and running within minutes.... Product is as advertised reliable. Flexible excellent for transfer fluids

fuse did not protect the board fried on the first use and getting a replacement through Milwaukee has been unsuccessful

Something you need a lot more than you think. The unit works very well. The only thing it needs added to the tool package is an appropriate sized pickup screen.

Used this on probably 10 water heaters and now it won’t pump. Was useful when it worked though.

I’m a plumber and have used it on a few water heaters and I haven’t had a problem with it.

Used it to pump diesel into my skid loader from my auxiliary tank when my pump went down. It was way faster than the pump I am currently using. Highly recommend for anybody in the trades, agriculture, or anyone in the heavy equipment industry! I always have been a hard-core DeWalt guy! Very impressed! Will be looking at Milwaukee tools in the future!

It's a little slower than I thought it would be but works very good. It's also a bit noisy.

Works great to help drain a water heater! It will suck the water right past the buildup. I shouldve bouth this years ago!

Bought one and stopped working after 6 months. Sent in for warranty and they shipped me a broken one back. I purchased a new one and it don't even work you sure this ain't a Ryobi?
