I do a lot of work in residential and businesses. Was tired of dragging an extension cord around. With a 5.0 battery you can not beat the suction power on this vacuum.

The Milwaukee 18 volt Cordless 2 Gallon Wet / Dry Vacuum is the perfect on the go vacuum. It generates plenty of suction and has been able to stand up to any mess I have thrown at it. It is nice and compact and it has on-board storage for the utility nozzle as well as the crevice tool and hose that can extend to approximately six fee. The vacuum comes equipped with a HEPA filter and can run for approximately 30 minutes on a 9.0Ah 18 volt battery. The vacuum can accommodate any size 18 volt battery from the 1.5Ah to the 12.0Ah batteries. Keep in mind that based on the size battery you use will affect run time. The tool box design makes it super easy to pick up and carry just about anywhere, whether that be around the house for those small everyday messes, cleaning your car, around the job site or anywhere else you can imagine. The size and shape allows for easy storage, whether it be in the trunk of your car or in your workshop. Would highly recommend this vacuum. It truly is the perfect size / weight combining maneuverability, power, and convenience all into one.

Battery falls out every time you drill down. Battery comes disconnected every 1-3 minutes. Not only is this incredibly frustrating, but it's down right embarrassing. I feel foolish for purchasing these with my hard earned money.

Handy Vacuum, just keep filter and hose clean and it has a lot of suction. Works great as a wet vac too, just remember to take off filter first.

Milwaukee hits another home run. This is the best vac vacuum in the market. Its powerful and everything fits inside the box.

When it worked it was adequate for the job but it broke after 1 month of light use. Wont turn on now. Tried with several different batteries.

Works pretty good. Larger Ah batteries would be better since the regular ones for kinda fast.

Love the new model rather then the old. The vacuum hose does not pull out anymore or becomes loose when using it, nice storage space inside for all your attachments and hose

sound is normal for a vacuum, it's small, easy to use and store, convienent, works great. wish it didn't eat batteries so quickly, had an ac option and would charge the batteries, but maybe milwaukee will make those changes on the next revision. love it

One issue killed it for me to recommend. The nozzle is over sized at 1.3" and unable to properly fit typical 1.25" accessories. Only the two included attachments fit. I purchased this vacuum because it's spec reads 1.25" since I have many 1.25" attachments. They should include an adapter.

not sure why they put the power switch on the exhaust side of the tool because it makes it awkward to carry the tool in both hands, (im right handed) so if i carry the tool in my left hand the switch is in the "rear" part of the tool while my right hand holds the nozzle that points to the "front" of the tool... would love to use it with the switch on the intake nozzle end of the tool....

Works great, been using it for hours doing home repair and I haven’t had any issues, the battery charges fast and takes long time to the next charge. I would recommend it over any other one.

It is a very tough and strong drill

I've had this thing for just over a year. I LOVE it. I am a low voltage technician and occasionally make a mess at a customers site when doing a repair or install. This thing frees me of cords. I used it quite a bit when I was laying tile in my living room.

excellent portable vacuum cleaner for cleaning my own car, love it more powerful than standard hand vacuum cleaners and it goes inside a nice toolbox style

This vacuum is extremely strong and is great for a construction site since it has a HEPA filter. The vacuum is super light weight and smaller than a handheld tool box. The noise would be another complaint by many, but it’s what you get when you have that kind of power. The big down side of this is that you have to trade that sucking power for battery power. You’ll get around 25 minutes of straight run time, but I’m sure if you need to vacuum or blow anything longer than that, you’d need a bigger vacuum/blower anyways.

Other than figuring out the vacumn side or blowing side this is an awesome tool for your shop. First crisis use was a broken tempered glass panel from a refrigerator - heavy pebbles to big chunks - did a great job

For the price it's exactly what I thought a cordless vacuum would do as far as power goes. For me, incredibly convient to pack around. Maybe would keep a corded option with wider suction tube for the bigger jobs.

I use this product to clean the job site while repairing or remodeling homes. Get at least a 4amp battery to go with this bad boy... They don't last long but the power it puts out is excellent. The accessories are well chosen and everything fits into a small compact package. Lugging around a big filthy vacuum in the back of the truck can be a real pain, but this tool is small, stackable, and pretty easy to keep clean. One of these days I hope Milwaukee makes an AC adapter so some of these tools can plug in to 110 when a guy needs it...

This is a fantastic vacuum. Very powerful and convenient. Must have for every gang box or van.

I had a battery-powered Craftsman vac for two years and it worked fine, but I was looking to move all my tools into one battery family so I picked this up. First off, it's important to note: this isn't meant to be used the same way as your regular shop vacuum. So don't expect massive suction power or extra-long battery life; Essentially, it's a dust buster on steroids. And works great in that aspect. My main use for this vac is to pick up the shards of plastic toy and rope left behind by my dog and the hair bands and whatnot left by the "CEO." I also use it to clean up underneath the kitchen cabinets, to do quick clean-ups in the car/truck or other small, brief random tasks that aren't worth dragging around the full-size shop vac or not suitable for your regular vacuum . For what i need it for, it's a perfect fit. I use it primarily with the standard Milwaukee M18 battery but it works much better with one of the XCs (I think I have 5.0s, personally). The built-in storage is a very nice touch and the form factor works nicely to store under the kitchen sink or a cabinet or a little nook or cranny. If you already have M18 batteries in your house, you should have one of these, too.

This is a great little vacuum cleaner. I bought it to replace my 35 year old large capacity behemoth. A little less powerful and smaller capacity but easily portable, not tied down by a cord and enough capacity for my needs. A little lacking in the accessories. I wanted a longer hose, extension wands, a floor tool and a brush tool. Not easy to find1 1/4 accessories. I finally bought a M18 18-Volt Lithium-Ion Compact Vacuum Bare Tool as well. I was surprised to find It's accessories are a slightly larger diameter. By making a shim out of a soda bottle I was able to marry the two hoses together and I can now use the accessories on either tool. I'm surprised Milwaukee designed multiple vacuum tools without making the accessories fit them all.

This is a wet and dry vac that vacuums or blows when connecting the hose to their respective end of the unit. The hose, case and components are well made. The (box) shape of the unit makes it easier to load/fit in the back of your truck or car. In the picture, I've attached it to my track saw to use it as a portable dust collector, worked great for that too. For the last two years I've purchased the M18 Fuel Line from Milwaukee, love the quality and battery life you get from the brushless technology on the ones I own which are the Drill/Driver, Impact and Circular products. (2604-20, 2653-20 and 2730-20 respectively)

This is a great little vac that has all the sucking power of larger 110 volt shop vacs. I use it daily on job sites to clean up after drilling through sheetrock/ studs, ect. Works great at home to, to vacuum out the cars. A little pricy, being that it doesn't come with a battery or have a built in charger, which would be a nice touch, but overall a good product.

But wait- it is a blower too. I've put off getting one because, like every other guy in America- I have a shop vac. There are strings attached to these known as a power cord. Who wants to clean up after cleaning up? This Milwaukee you just twist the hose on and you are in business. The icing on the cake is this also can be used as a portable blower- with a good balance of pressure vs air flow. I mostly use this for clean up on client's equipment and I have been very pleased so far.

When I bought this set I was a little worried because of their batteries but milwaukee has made me a believer that they are on top of the power tool industry. Then I went and bought the circular saw and it's a beast so is that monster of a impact driver and hammer drill.. The Hackzall thans alone in the saw nation as number 1 hands down.
